    http://chriscornell.com/news/detail/mad ... cancelled/

here is the link to his website.....

Such a let down. I only was going to see Pearl Jam and Chris Cornell... I was more excited to see Chris than PJ because this would have been the first time I would see him solo...

This is ridiculous to cancel 5 DAYS before the show.... No excuses, why would you schedule like this?!

I hope the same!! But this is really pretty upsetting to me :( :( Haven't ever seen Chris before and was really really looking forward to seeing him. Also the prospect of a TOTD song or two. Oh well, can't do anything about it. Other than hope for more PJ :)

WOW. That stinks. I love the guy, but I think it's a bad call to cancel on a festival that he booked months ago because he's doing the Obama thing the day before. Like someone else said, he can't catch a plane? Since he's playing solo, far less equipment to lug around.

That being said, that's the nature of festivals/multi-lineup event. I bought tickets to Pete Seeger's birthday at MSG a few years ago because Ed was scheduled to be there but he canceled. It was still fun and cool and all, but definitely would not have paid that much if not for Ed. Learned my lesson then.

Well, hope more PJ and maybe there will be an awesome replacement!

Wanted to see Chris but more excited for Gary

That's gotta be it, Gary replacing Chris. Definitely would prefer Chris over Gary but that's not to say I'm not excited to see Gary do his thing- he rocks! Still gonna hurt a bit not seeing Chris, though.

With all due respect, I think you're more delusional than optimistic. I mean, anything is possible, but really?

And for the folks banking on a TOTD reunion, that's your fault for letting your imaginations get the better of you. . . once again, anything is possible, but there was never any mention of it from CC or PJ. It was all 100% speculation.

Now, with all that being said . . . . . F Chris Cornell. This is a punk move to back out less than a week away. He just lost a fan.

Thank God no Cornell. Best thing that could happen.

That means their 2 hour set isn't begrudged by being taken over by some lame TOTD reunion.
  • Gary Clark Jr's Facebook page says he is playing Sunday -- it doesnt say anything about him playing Saturday now --- i am really ready for an "OFFICIAL" schedule release for MIA and not some bogus iphone app.

still no real schedule or news, Cornell dropping out. I am still not feeling too confident about this thing.
