Ok guys...if you were having a b-day party...which jello shots would you like the most?
I'm going to make some this weekend for a party...
(where do people get those little plastic solo cups?)
They sell them at Walmart in 50 packs
They're usually in the same isle as the regular size solo cups.
I bought like 4 bags once and the girl at the check out was like... what are you using theeese for?!?!
So I told her for jello shots, and she said... you should just go to McDonalds and steal the little cups they have out for ketchup. I was like, oh, yeah, thats a good idea! ( :roll: ) I like the ones with lids tho cuz then you can just stack them high, toss them in a cooler, whatever and not worry about spillage. Its only like $2 for a 50 pack anyways

the Freddy's by my house (Kroger in other parts outside Washington and Oregon), they have the red solo cups and ping pong balls right there in the beer aisle...I've never had to actually look for the cup aisle.

I told him this story and he just rolled his eyes. I was so happy to meet so many new people all because I had jello shots Spent a little money and used UV Cake with strawberry jello and it was awesome!
Side note- told the hubby that I am sick and tired of one of my friends and I am going to have to punch her in the fucking head at Summerfest and he is going to have to bail me out of Milwaukee County Jail. Also told him that they are allowing drunks to rent paddle boats at Summerfest.

I'm planning for my housewarming party...I'm SO excited to be getting the fuck out of where I live right now! Think I'll make regular shots for Saturday with vodka...everclear should be for that 'special occasion' (and also because I think we already packed up the liquor).

You can't really go wrong with Jello shots. Sometimes its just easier to keep it simple, if you want to make a lot... just stick to vodka & do a bunch of different flavors so you have a whole rainbow of flavors to choose from. Get creative and mix some of the jello flavors. They have so many more flavors out now than they did when we actually ate the stuff as kids... I remember a cherry lemonade one I had last year that was really good. Make it easy on yourself if your planning on a crowd, and just get hammered!
