Not a useful catch phrase to get hung up on. Also, no one would have done any better than Obama. If anyone thanks so they are just deluding themselves. The US is fucked no matter who is in charge because corporations are the ones in charge and that ain't changing any time soon. But the least the voters could do is keep religion out of their politics, because if they let that happen any more (and it will if republicans get back in for any length again), then things will get REALLY fucked!
Worse then it is now????.

oh yes, worse than it is now, i believe it

dispite all the political talk I think it would be a once in a life time opertunity to spend some time with such an historical figure, it would be a time to put politics aside and just talk about life in general.

About what would I say to Obama? (was that your question?)... I'd probably ask him how he doesn't have a fucking mental breakdown, having to on one side deal with or hear from so many idiots everyday acting like they know what they're even talking about, and on the other side with a bunch of other idiots whose only goal is to disagree with him. :D

Wait until he picks his running mate. Obama's plan to divide and conquer is not going to work. I will put money on it.

Thought of Romney in there is scary. He's way too rich to be president. His way of thinking has been completely warped by his wealth, and isn't fit to run a country where most people struggle to pay bills. I don't believe that he's capable of understanding at all what people have to deal with; he will be all about corporations and ensuring that money is more important than anything else. Not even his fault, really. He just can't make his brain do it I don't think. But whatever. The US is fucked either way I think... I just don't like Republicans for things other than the economy, namely the environment, abortion/women's rights, bringing religion to politics, the death penalty, government funded science research, free speech, international diplomacy, a health care system that works only for the rich ... etc etc etc. So actually, Republicans scare the shit out of me. And I'm not even American.

I don't think so... we have access the exact same information as you do and we pay attention. Also, I live a 25 minute drive from the boarder. I'm hardly oblivious to what's going on the US. Canadians have a vested interest in American politics since we're so tied to the American economy and cultural influences, so many of us know what we're talking about as much as any American.

Not cheap at all. It's interesting that Goldman Sachs is Romney's number one contributor and Obama's number two... Lots of money involved there

I think if dumps Biden he stands a chance.. Hillary would be his best option but I don't think she wants it. She should have been President but was blindsided by the Obama machine. Brilliant campaign but didn't live up to the promises

It wouldn't say much for Obama to get rid of the VP he supported and touted as his partner...would it? Honest question.

And yeah, I could see a Romney/Rubio ticket happening.

well you know as we are all aware there are times in our lives when the partner were with isnt doing it for us anymore, and a change is needed. the strong thing to do is admit youd be stronger without that partner and move on.

Not an issue. Biden would just say he didn't want to do it anymore and gracefully bow out.
