They start handing out bracelets at 4:00 and the doors open at 7:00. I think that's all the details they gave us.

Sheffield's is great, but it's a few blocks away. Big City probably wouldn't be bad for a meet-up spot - it's literally kittykorner across the street from the Vic. I bet you could almost keep an eye on the ticket/wristband line from their front windows...

*edited to add* Sheffield's is actually a lot closer than I thought. But sounds like Big City is the pick!

I got in but thru my friends membership. server dropped out on my chance. It works out to be the perfect timing for me too, phils-cubs at 1:20, pick the tickets up at 4, drink around the vic until its time to get in line. any good bars around the vic?

Vic Theatre. At 7:00pm, ticket distribution will move to the box office.

Looks that way. I'm kind of hoping you can get a poster at 4:00 with your wristband. It would be nice to run it back to the hotel before the show.

I like the postive outlook on poster - but I have my doubts.

Me too but I've been to shows where they have done that. Ottawa for example. They sold merchadise next to the box office where the tickets were being given out. I got a poster at 3:00 that afternoon with my tickets. Took it to the car and didn't have to worry about it.

I am in with wife. Got mine in the cart about 2:02 eastern after punching ticket link a number of times. A bit of a sweat/delay while checking out, entering credit card, etc.

Flying from Atl on frequent flier miles at 7 am Thursday. Still looking for a hotel. I see some things opening up now. Can anyone comment on the travelodge on Harrison?

Got shut out on my own but my buddy got lucky and scored a pair... our agreement beforehand was that if I got a pair and he didn't, I'd take him (and vice versa).

We're taking the train out from Detroit... gets in around 4:30 on Thursday afternoon. Staying at the Hilton (gotta love being able to cash in those Hilton points for a freebie room ) over across from Grant Park on Michigan Ave., so the plan is to swing by there, check in, dump my backpack/laptop off and then hit the red line train up to the Vic.

We might have to pop into that bar before the show after we snag the wristbands... I'm gonna need a nice cold beer after that hectic travel day.

That place is awesome. I watched Jeopardy there once and the bartender and her son were amazed at how many I was actually getting correct.

And $1 Beers on Thursday? No, doubt I will be there.
