maybe the ump technically shouldn't call time out, but defenders are suppose to be in fair territory, net of the catcher., although he should have called time out when the rouge ball went on the field

Still not correct. Answer the question at hand not concentrating on the events leading up. Player in foul territory and a pitch is delivered.

The batter gets to sleep with the outfielder's wife/girlfriend and the pitch is called a ball.

Technically not right. Should be enough of a hint.

    congratulations.

He did have a sweet swing and could have done some serious damage if he ever played for the Yankees. I liked him. He's no Don Mattingly though.

he had a bit more post season success than donald baseball, my friend. ;)

i said they both were...but at different times.

the time frame i referred to with my clue was the late 80's and early 90's. that would have been will clark.

griff was more mid to late 90's. ;) clark was when i was a kid....griff was when i was a little older.

Title of a deadspin article from years ago. Good player but does seem like a bit of a jackass. I guess most of them are though.

When I was about 10, I was at Shea Stadium on the third base side begging for autographs. Barry Bonds didn't even give me a glance but Clark signed my ball and talked to me and my dad. He's forever the man because of it :D.

That's sweet, even though you are comparing him to one of the biggest jackasses to ever play the game. Good stuff though. As Michael Kay always says when Jeter gives a kid a bat or a ball, "he has made a fan forever"
