pitchers were on different teams......big gap..
    Great Question...

That no human being on planet Earth would know the answer to.....

    hehe

From a google search it looks like Johnson and Sanchez were the pitchers and 6364 was the number of games. Horrible trivia question 81. Try to make them realistic please? :fp:

On that note. How many sticks of gum did Derek Jeter chew last Tuesday?

It has to be somebody from early on, the left handed catcher has been virtually non existent in baseball history.

    just read this
Being left-handed in baseball, except in rare cases, means exclusion from the position of catcher. This is due in large part to the game's counterclockwise flow. There have only been 30 left-handed throwing players who caught in at least 1 defensive inning. If you exclude the seven men who only caught in a single game, then you're talking about just 23 players. If you count only those guys who caught 100 or more games in a career, you're down to exactly five left-handed throwing catchers. However, if you're only counting career catchers (minimum of 800 games caught), then you have exactly one and that is __________

 You found the page I got this from. I had a heated discussion with a guy at work that made me think about this. He thought it was ridiculous you couldn't be an effective left handed throwing catcher. I still don't see it.

A lefty catcher would get killed out there, not sure why he thinks it's even an option. Every play at the plate he would either be out of position or get crushed, I'm sure you brought that point up what did he say about that?

i hate to say it, but i don't see why a lefty can't catch...besides lack of left gloves.
