    Rickey?
Surprisingly he's 23rd on the list, which the top 5 is as follows:

    1 Robin Yount 337
    2 Wade Boggs 314
    3 Dwight Evans 306
    4 George Brett 303
    T5 Andre Dawson 290
    T5 Bill Buckner 290

Honestly I was thinking Boggs becasue of the way he used to just bounce the ball off the monster but the other four on that list really surprise me. Bill Buckner??? I wonder how many triples he could have had in the 80's if he had good knees and ankles?

what are the four ways you can get to first base with out swinging the bat?
    (bunt counts as a swing)

Walk, hit by a picth, strike out with a passed ball, and catcher's interference (guess it could happen without swinging the bat). :corn:

Well you can get there by a balk but that's only if there's three balls which technically just makes it a walk so I guess it's being put in as a pinch runner?

while i don't know the answer to this question, i think it's safe to assume that the cubs likely already hold the longest such streak.

i was thinking Baltimore might be on the list with their 0-21 start back in 1988.
