    I usually get close to 6 gigs. I remember people, including the guys at the phone company kiosk, telling me last year when I got my first smartphone that the data goes a long way, and 1 gig would probably be more than enough. Obviously no one guessed how severe my addiction to PJ vids on YouTube and 10c forum was. :lol:

    But holy 81... 17 gigs is REALLY out of control!

    that was only a 2 week period. i might have played a role...but not all of it.

    the high months are defiantly months that had me downloading files, watching vids, or listening to tunes.

    :shock: I don't know how people use that much data. I use my phone as my home computer (I got rid of my desktop), and am addicted to it, and it's still rare for me to go above 3 gigs! Unless you regularly watch full length movies on it or something?

    I am on a super low data plan. AT&T pretty much mow forces you to go on their 'unlimited' plan, but they cap it out. I'm at home most of the time, so I just use home Wi-Fi.

    This is probably a very dumb question....when you connect your phone to a wireless network, do you still get charged for data usage at all? I'm guessing not, but I'm not quite sure.

    depends on if you have apps that use data for updates...like FB and Twitter. I just turn off my data unless I want to post twits or look at FB.

    you are talking wifi? that does not count agaist your data plan.

    I knew you'd have an answer for me. Yeah, I just connect to my work's wifi network. I've been streaming a shitload lately so I just wanted to make sure I won't go over the 2GB monthly limit when I upgrade to the iPhone 5.
