I have a 1 GB monthly plan and I usually get to around 97% of that. I could easily use more if I wanted.

You could also use the 3g Watchdog app (with a widget) and set it to your billing cycle.

Nope, but it still monitors the data usage pretty accurately.

When I was in the office 5 days a week, I would use about 4 or 6. Mostly connected to wifi while I'm at home

I use somebody's mobile 4g hotspot when I'm not at home...

Well last month it was WAAAAYYYYY to much and went way over by allowance. I'm on a $39 cap and have never ever gone over my limit. Virgin sent me a msg the day before my bill was issued to say I was approaching my limit. Then my bill came and it was $486!!!!! Needless to say I was unimpressed, called them and said I refused to pay as there was no way I could have gone over in one day, and that they had an obligation to notigy earlier than that. :nono: They admitted that I should have been sent notifications at 50%, 75% and 90%....so after a few offers and me thrreatening to contact the ombudsman and the media, they said since I was a long term customer and had never gone over ever before, they reduced it down to $142!!!
Have now upped my data plan and learnt a very big lesson!

depends on the plan. i think att and verizon cap it at 2 gigs per month. tmobile i think throttles you at a certain point, and sprint is unlimited.

i have sprint unlimited....and use it  they gotta hate me.

upon further review, it looks like boost is unlimited and the prices don't look bad
