Welcome to the dark side!!
The thing I like most about time is that it's not real. It's all in the head. Sure, it's a useful trick to use if you want to meet someone at a specific place in the universe and have tea or coffee- but that's all it is- a trick. There is no such thing as the past. It exists only in the memory. There is no such thing as the future. It exists only in our imagination. If our watches were truly accurate, the only thing they would ever say is "Now". That's what time it is. It's "Now". - Damien Echols

about 18 hours later and I finally just got the 7/11 star wars Oakland email cancellation telling me the order was voided and that I should go buy the 7/12 version. I can't imagine how many people are going to be irritated that when they get this email and then log on to realize it has long been out of stock and therefore they can't buy the 7/12. I think what would have been fair is an automatic 7/12 should have been replaced into the 7/11 orders with buyers having an opportunity to cancel if they indeed did not want the 7/12. A free poster credit probably would help those that are upset! (can't say I didn't try for you guys!)

Just curious, was there a reason you ordered the 7/11 poster instead of the 7/12?

I feel bad for the people that may not get the poster they wanted (star wars) but it was fishy from the start.

yep. the date has significance to me and I was excited to see it. it might have been fishy from the start, but there lengthy details in the item's description that it was the same image as 7/12 but with 7/11 as the date. So after going over those details a few times to make sure I wasn't buying the real 7/11 oakland (buckley), I purchased it. Once again, I offer my QA services to the 10c as gratitude for all they do!

Bummer! It was strange. I'm sorry you didn't get a 7/11 but were able to snatch up a 7/12.

I gotta agree, thats a major balls-up by 10c with the 2 posters. Last night I couldn't understand why there was 2 Oakland Star Wars posters with different dates. Majorly confused me so I didn't order it, and then this morning saw it sold out

I think with the error being made, 10c should offer something out to those orders have been voided.

i thought based on the 10C description that the 7/11 poster might have been a misprint or made first before the other artist did theirs. in either case i thought it would be cool to have a misprint or something on it. i think they shoulda fulfilled the orders in the order they came in. thats my take

or maybe upon cancelling everyone's star wars 7/11 orders they could have automatically added a 7/12 star wars to the carts of everyone who had a 7/11 cancelled and give people 24-48 hours to either check out with it or empty their cart. I can't tell you how many people I have spoken too, got emails and texts from today that didn't know their order was cancelled until it was too late to go get a 7/12. This isn't like the white backspacer issue or other customer service/sales issues, but it is like it's little cousin....
