In the interest of continued preparation/training for the Memorial Weekend bombast, I will be going to see OASIS tonight at the Taft Theater in downtown Cincy.

It's gorgeous. It looks like THIS: http://www.taftevents.com/taft2.html

My buddy is driving down from Dayton and his woman is driving us, so tonight will be a very good night. I'm going to go listen to YIELD and clean up the house a bit.

I wouldn't worry about the third show. I think that it will happen. It will probably be announced at some point this week for a sale next Saturday. They may end up changing the date to like Friday or something. I don't know anything about the schedule for the venue but I would think that a Friday night show would sell no problem. It doesn't seem that there is much left for the two night that went on sale today. I'm not worried about the third night. I think that it will happpen. I agree with you about Philly; three nights here would be justice.

just an FYI for PHILLY people. (not Jersey)

there is a full page ad for the Tweeter Center shows in this weeks City Paper, which is a free paper you can find at SEPTA stations or random spots in the City.

the ad is not in Philadelphia Weekly, another free paper.

Thank you thank you thank you! I've been asking about this for a couple of days and no one had an answer. I am on a mission now! (Mission because the suburbs don't seem to have much of the City Paper around).
By the way, that Strawberry Cheesecake ice cream is the best shit on earth! :)

But out here in Bristol, and specifically at the Bristol and Levittown stations, there's a severe lack of City Paper boxes.

    AGREED.

hey some people probably wondered what PJ was thinking when they put a YIELD sign on the cover back in 1998. that turned out to be an "ok" album.

    :)

The YIELD cover is amazing. The big YIELD tour poster they sold at the shows in '98 is a thing of beauty. Sometimes when I look at it, I can't seem to pull myself away.

I have to keep looking at it.
I have to because I want to.

    It's beautiful.

I keep forgetting that it's just a poster.

The other night I tried to walk into it, to walk around "in" it.

It didn't work. Thank God I didn't harm it.

    Beer is wonderful.

I survived. Liam got pissed and walked offstage during Wonderwall. He came back and they restarted the song.

The show was awesome. I'm not feeling the best right now; I'll write a review later.

ah yes. I know of which poster you speak, it looks like this one, but with all of the US dates on it. I have that one framed.

To me it is more valuable then the Mona Lisa or a Picasso.

yea I guess its not an official OASIS concert unless one of the Gallagher brothers gets pissed and walks off stage.

    1. i saw PJ on SNL last night around 3am, i was about to go stuff my face w/pizza but then out of nowhere i hear sharon stone announce pearl jam, i guess the pizza just wasnt meant to be...it was a rerun but they played alive and PORCH. it was pretty sweet.

    2. i talked to my friend, who i will be staying with in hartford, she was saying how shes not sure if there really are places and/or if we can tailgate there before the show. she mentioned that there are some cool irish pubs within walking distance to the show and so maybe you guys would want to meet up there? ive never been to hartford before, just driving through it and she sd its very small, about the size of downingtown. for those of you that dont know what that is, d-town is smaller than west chester. for those of you that dont know what wc is, well, im sorry for the bad comparison.

    3. i cant freaking wait until memorial day weekend. tomorrow i will begin the official countdown.

    4. thanks to all of you who have graciously sent me PM's regarding my sig.

    5. julian, i am assuming you are drinking again (not that theres anything wrong w/that)
