Two things: What is #3?
Also Bubba, D Wade was awesome at Marquette. I followed him back in college and Marquette was my dark horse pick to make the Final 4 his senior year which they accomplished. He was a born leader back then and he literally carried that Marquette team on his back.
I remember his interview from SI his rookie year in which they asked him why he didn't have any fancy cars or bling like other rookies and he said the most important thing is my wife and kid. I have enough to take care of them for a long time now and I don't need any of those fancy things. I think the coolest thing is seeing myself in a video game and I play it all the time in my free time.

There is a rule in place that came into existence based around the Hack-A-Shaq defense recently that prevents massive amounts of intentional Shaq fouling. If you foul with a minute or less, the team gets the shots plus the ball back. This was not implemented as a way to insulate Shaq bc of his free's, but rather to keep the integrity and flow of the game moving. Nothing like the last 3 minutes taking 45 mins. It's bad enough when the last minute can take 15 to start with anyway most of the time unless it's a blowout or decisive point spread.
Shaq did hit 12 of 14 in one of the FInal games...maybe it was Game 1. I forget and don't feel like looking it up. Centers are notoriously bad foul shooters to begin with, but it still blows my mind as professionals, hell as long time players, that they can't make them.0 -

Here's a funny little tidbit from my favorite sports columnist Bill simmons:
"That reminds me, here's an interesting question from California reader Brian Ackerman: "After watching Shaq miss more free throws, I can't help but ask: Is there another situation in sports where a seventh-grade girl can be more proficient in a key part of the sport than one of the most dominant professional players of all time? I can't make the question any more basic. There are literally hundreds of 12-year-old girls who can shoot free throws better than him. That fact alone must beg the even deeper question: Can NBA basketball really be a sport, given the above-mentioned situation?""
I will say this: The crazy thing about Shaq's free-throw shooting is that, fundamentally, he's always been completely wrong. Shaq shoots his free throws like line drives. Well, that makes no sense. Imagine you're trying to throw a rolled-up piece of paper into a garbage can -- instinctively, would you throw it with a Nowitzki-like arc, or would you whip it in a straight line at the can? You'd throw it with the arc. Everyone would. So why would Shaq continue to whip straight line drives at the rim for 14 consecutive years? Have we ever definitively answered this question?- Busted down the pretext

Friggin Pitt and Cincy posters came yest and about 35 of the Cincy's are Shipping Damage, and most of those were the S/N's. I'm not happy.
The St. Paul artwork is sick and it's a Mookie poster too. I thought going a little retro like that would be cool. Just got the JPEG last night. It's on the site right now.0 -
