there are a bunch of wineries around there that i want to go to.
That Crossings Vineyard is realy nice, I went once to pick some glasses up for my dad and I have never been back but it is literally 2 miles from my house.

Julie, I know how you hate the dirty Jerz, but this is awesome:
Tomasello Blueberry Wine 500ml
For over a decade, Tomasello Winery has been producing 100% pure blueberry wine from cultivated high bush blueberries grown on the Atlantic Blueberry Company farms. The wine is semi-dry with soft and perfumed hints of blueberry. Recent studies prove the Blueberry wine to be very high in antioxidants. To add a distinctive character to your sparkling wine, try a Tomasello Blueberry Wine Kir Royale. Pour one ounce of chilled Tomasello Blueberry Wine into the bottom of your favorite champagne flute. Top with Tomasello Blanc de Blanc Brut or your favorite bubbly. Serve this as a delightful aperitif before dinner. To highlight your salad course, top baby mixed greens, with slivered almonds, dried blueberries and a Tomasello Blueberry Wine Vinaigrette.
It's the only winery I know that makes blueberry wine.

I know, you told me all about it, hence why I posted about the Blueberry wine and blueberry champagne.
fanch and i were fake greeks i.e. honor society greeks
This is true. I was in the Accounting Fraternity. Man, those parties. We'd sit, drink Mountain Dew, and read AICPA FASB's and GASB's all day while hot chicks were on their knees taking care of us.
Now it got me thinking that Philadelphia has had some awful, awful mayors in its history - Mayor Goode and Street come to mind immediately, but seriously how the fuck did Cincy ever elect Jerry Springer as mayor back in the day.
If you're from Cincy are you embarassed or proud of that fact? I'll wait to hear Fanch's response on this later.
Wow, lots of Fanch-related trivia today. This is also true; Springer was our mayor (this was pre-tv) some years ago. Apparently the brother paid a hooker with a check and got busted. Dumbass.
ANother piece of trivia - I dated a babe in college who was a theater major and she and friends conjured up a story and ended up on Springer. I was working one night and friends barged into Subway "Jim you won't believe WHO I saw on TV last night!". All true.
Additionally, I love getting home from work at 5:30.
i hear stories about levittown all the time. my good friend is the building and planning director for bristol township. fucking crazy shit goes on there! crazy people!
Ok, let me clarify- there is Bristol -Levittown and Middletown Township-Levittown. The first is live there at your own risk pretty much, and the latter is my area...blue collar middle class and you won't get shot walking down the sidewalk. The two are literally night and day that way.
Well, you all missed a very sweet night. The weather was perfect and it won't be repeated. Some day you may learn to follow the lead of Mike and myself. Cool things happened and the view was spectacular.
Music, conversation, and cold beer. I'd say we are starting the summer off right Mike. All of that and I still got home in time to enjoy a little of my high speed internet connection before going to sleep.

it is for people who don't have time to listen to the evil drone of dial up. seriously, if you already pay for and get cable into your home, why not have high speed?

For some reason, I just clicked the activism link on pj.com and found out what charitable cause the donations were made for the Philly shows.
Obviously we all know what night 1 went to - The Innocence Project.
Night 2 went to The Spiral Q Puppet Theater seeks to mobilize communities and illuminate the victories, frustrations and possibilities of living in the neighborhoods of Philadelphia and similar urban settings through the construction of full-scale giant puppet parades, toy theater and neighborhood pageantry.
Through its puppet parades and pageants, Spiral Q is resurrecting and reclaiming an almost forgotten form of people's theater to amplify and unite the power and vitality of those working for change through art-making, protest, and civic theater.
I am pissed I gave money to freaking jackasses who made Philly a traffic gridlock for the Republican Convention. Stupid hippies.
I am pretty upset about this because that is a cause I never would have donated money to.
Hats off to the Heat and congrats to Shaq, Flash, ZO, GP, J Williams and Pat Riley for engineering a hell of a title run when it was really looking bleak out of the gate. I'm a fan and I wasn't thinking they were gonna do it, and esp not that way.
