I hope you jokers are ready for the party of a lifetime in the tweeter parking lot Mem. day weekend. It poses an important dilemma though. How fucked up should you get? Obviously, you want to be able to enjoy the show and remember it. But on the other hand, you want to tailgate, booze, weed and balloon it up all day. decisions decisions.....

Ok, I've been following this thread sporadically, I tried, but there's just been way too much traffic, so...is this thing open to anyone and what do I need to bring?
I mean I dare you to sing "Black" and not feel it.
    I dare you.
I've tried to phone in "Jeremy" a few times, and it's tough.
    It doesn't work.

Hahaha...yes, this thread is out of hand, but I guess that's what makes it fun! Of course the tailgate is open to anyone (FYI - there is no RV...just tailgating in the parking lot..don't know which parking lot yet)! But yes, come and hang with us...bring as many people as you'd like!

And fanchy, I hope you enjoyed our phone call during "Evolution Fanchy"! Jen never showed up, but I hope she had fun where ever her and her friends ended up celebrating the big cinco de mayo!

haha, I didn't get the "Evolution Fanchy" msg (it musta been too loud and overrode the mic), but I got the 2nd one. It was LOUD and it was difficult to hear you, but I did hear somebody yell something about "white women" (lol!) into the phone. I appreciate the shout-out.

    And, y'owls towlk fuhh-nee.

Cool, I'll be bringing my brother, he's coming in from Pittsburgh, I'm coming up from Dover. I've never really done the whole tailgaiting at a concert thing. I was stuck out in the boondocks for years with the military, and the concerts I did go to I just showed up for the show, so I'm looking forward to rocking out with the Jamily!

Joe I hope you are prepared to listen to YIELD for the entire road trip to Albany.

I will throw in the new album also for a bit. it's getting better with each listen.

top 6 right now: (in no real order)

    WWS
    Big Wave
    Inside Job
    Severed Hand
    Life Wasted
    Gone

I just spoke with Makul (my YIELD buddy from '98).

He said that the new album is better than YIELD. I am in shock. He absolutely LOVES it. Like me, he hates riot act and always thought of YIELD as the big-bootied chick. I told him to give it a few weeks.

That is a bold, BOLD statement.

The new album, Pearl Jam, #8, Avacado, whatever the F you want to call it

(I really wish they woud have given the album a title besides "Pearl Jam")

but regardless....as great as the new album is, it in NO WAY approaches the greatness of YIELD. but in the end its all personal opinion.

If its a bar and they serve alcohol then it sounds good to me.

1.4 miles isn't THAT far....and they'll be a big group of us walking over together.

    It'll be FUN!

And yes PhillyPJ, it's a bar and they serve lots and lots of liquor and beer.

Ok. I'm sold. sign me up.

Joe- give me a call this week. we need to game plan on this road trip. What is the depature time from Philly, what CDs to bring, how many cases of beer can fit in the trunk....the normal planning stuff.

I also need to go a Google search on all Taco Bells within a 30 mile radius of the Albany and Hartford venues to help satisfy any post-concert munchies.
