I liked that show. The last time I saw them play a venue similar to that was Tad Gormley stadium in '95.

    Pros:
The full moon was cool, they played Last Exit, Deep, Lukin, SOLAT (with a bit of harmonica)...it was a great show.
    The sound was awesome.
Ed danced with the Bush mask on...

    Cons:
You could only buy one beer at a time.
    The poster is lame.

I disagree with you two. I thought the crowd was OK...especially after having been to Hartford.
    I liked Hershey a lot.
Sean you don't seem to like much of anything anymore except for Julie.

...The Last Exit intro was a classic....

Don't forget Driven To Tears as well. Not a bad show, but definitely not the worst Ive been to.

Sean you don't seem to like much of anything anymore except for Julie.
    Hysterical!!!!! :D

You obviously were not on the aisles in the front sections when the townie VIP ticket holders showed up mid set. They kept complaining the band was too loud. I've had knee surgery so I sit between sets and my seat was taken by this biker couple who wouldn't move. There was no security at all where I was - right in front of Stone, 18th row aisle seats and all hell was breaking loose with VIPs trying to take the space of people who bought tickets. I won't even bring up being groped by a 45 year old biker woman.

Hershey's crowd blew. Honestly, if SOLAT didn't come on it would have been my first PJ show where I didn't have a good time.

A guy can't have an opinion about setlists apparently. New album still blows. I love Pearl Jam.

    Ok, how's this:

I saw 9 shows in '03. Of those, Hershey was my least favorite. I think the band was a little beat from Boston III and I thought it showed. I didn't go off and say it was the worst show ever, but again, comparative to other shows I saw in close proximity to it (7/1,5,6,8,9,14)I thought it was a tired performance. Maybe if I saw a video I'd think differently, but at the time it's what I was thinking.

I think Camden will be ok but I am thinking the 2 E. Rutherford shows are gonna be the "it" shows for this first leg.

I also went to 9 shows in 03 and that was the weakest show by far.

I'm expecting great things in Camden. I think E Ruth shows will be good, but Camden will be the killer Philly/NJ/NY shows on leg for us.

I like petite brunettes. 5'5 'ish Italian or Jewsih girls work the best. 2nd toe can't be longer than big toe, so everybody go home and check your sisters for me.

I always felt the same and then when I get there, I get let down. I dont know what it is, maybe its b/c I dislike the venue or something but I dunno, nothing will ever top RI or the Wach/Spectrum shows for me.

Who You Are will be played in Camden. I might have to leave after that song because my life, atleast for that day will have bene fulfilled and all of my dreams realized. Ok, with the exception of scoring a brunette PJ chick with 2nd toe shorter than big toe and with hammered metal earrings and nice full B at min., but regardless, I'll be good until 12 am that day.

I am in the same boat as you. Smile is at the top of my list and my wife's list. She is only going to one show in Camden. If they play Smile there I'm worried it will be on the night she's not there to see it. Right now she is supposed to go to night 1 but I think I should rearrange things and have her go to night 2.

Smile was on the setlist at Hershey and, thanks to Stone for shutting things down, never palyed. Ed was drunk but Smile should have been played. That was the perfect night for that song.

Hershey was good, good times!!!! I would have died if they played "Smile"! You know what sucks though? I have the setlist and potential encore list from that night and "Smile" isn't on my lists...I have no idea why it's not on there :(!

Oh stop. Negativity? So Hershey wasn't the gleaming example of '03 excellence for a couple of us. To each his own.

Somebody bring something good up like PSU, MSG, Holmdel, Yield, No Code, upcoming Gorge and you'll see some positive Sean. Damn.

    Ok, Holmdel- WOW WOW WOW

One of the most underrated and under-talked about shows on tour.
    Setlist- Holy Hell.

Open with Wash! Hunger Strike? Just the fact that they pulled it out, Corin hack job or not was enough for me. The chronological setlist was awesome touch. Me and the girl next to me (who I'd like to meet again) were dancing all night (her BF too busy drinkin beers and running to piss) Two 17 yr olds in front of me were asking me about previous shows I had been to like I was some PJ scribe or something. High 5's all night with people around me. Everybody around my section was amped, as well as everywhere I looked.

2nd Encore was great- HS, Leaving Here, Fortunate Son, RITFW, then off into traditional LB close. The band was on fire and the energy from them, and the crowd was awesome. That was a top 3 show for me in '03 (and maybe ever), behind MSG/PSU.
