    So when is everyone going to NYC to lineup at Tower Records for the midnight release so you can get a free ticket to a club show next Friday?

    One free ticket will be distributed with the album as long as supplies last.

    Is this a true thing? Is anyone really doing this? Speaking of next Friday, is anyone planning on going to see 5 Against 1 at Sweeney's (I'm not sure exactly where Sweeney's is....Julie, hopefully you know)! I'm going!

    Well apparantly it's advertised in the Village Voice. A friend of mine in NYC is going to grab one at lunch and confirm it for me.

    I might go to 5 against 1, but with a real show 7 days away and the chance to boo Barry Bonds I might pass it up.

    Looks like there might also be a 10C password which will be sent to select 10C members in order to get tickets. That's just what I have figured out from the LiveNation website link which someone posted.

    Well Cinco De Mayo really isn't a holiday per say.

    I mean Mexican Independence Day should be September 15 when they actually became independent from Spain.

    May 5th just marks the Mexican defeat of the French army on May 5th, 1862.

    I mean if every country celebrated a holiday for a victory over the French army everyday would be a holiday. ;)

    Like I said, I'm probably going to the baseball game and if I feel like trekking up to the NE around 11 I will, but I can't promise anything.

    well, its on bustleton and philmont in the northeast, but its the far northeast which means im not 100% sure how to get there from your direction...ive actually never been to sweeneys, only whiskey tango which is across the street and i know i took the turnpike that time....

    im picking up tim and his brother so im coming from their house, again, still have no clue how to get there? i guess ill just take bustleton all the way up??

    danielle, ask mike, hes been there before im sure he can give better directions!

    Im going up to NYC late Sunday night and I plan on sitting in line all day. Irving Plaza is an amazing little venue.

    As far as confirmation - call Tower, they have confirmed it many times today.

    Best way for VW would be to take 95 North to Woodhaven Rd or Street Rd. exits then take either to Bustleton.

    danielle, i can go up whenever, just have to go home and get ready first, if bob and tim arent ready when i get there their asses are walking! but well talk more next week, i have too much going on right now to concentrate :D
