I am pleased to announce that former board member "62strat" will be attending the Philly festivities. Strat, guitar player for the band Wayside (I have all of their demos, good stuff, btw), is a longtime Synergy member and board legend, but was banned about a month ago for being too awesome. He's a cool dude, is coming all the way from MN, looks like a skinny John Elway, and has an incredibly hot girlfriend (I tried flirting with her at the Toledo '04 show when I was partying with Coldie et al, but he called me on it; in horror, I backed down immediately). Most importantly, he also has partied with brother YieldInHiding.
Strat, I know you're out there - this is for you bro. See you in Philly. I'll have a cold one (case) waiting for you.

i actually was at a lunch meeting but i'm back now. and as for calling in sick to talk about pearl jam, i did that last monday to wait on the line for my irving plaza ticket. i sounded like shit (read: drag queen) so it was very believable.

That was probably the best ballgame I ever saw in person. Nomar went 6/6. Pedro pitched great. Thome with 2 game tying homers and Pratt with the gw after the Sox took the lead in 12th.
