for all three nights for one person it was $229, i believe that was the AAA rate incl taxes

That comes up $80 per night per room. With one roommate, it becomes a manageable $40 per night per room with two folks in each room.

Well, I have AAA. I'm sure someone else does too. AAA discount should knock a few more bucks off as well.

$3.50 cheaper a night (every little bit helps)., so we will say $55 per person for the entire stay. If I remember, they have a high tax rate.

there were cheaper places, some $25 night/person, but ive never been to seattle so i dont know how shady those places are...they could be "ace motel"ish?

Eh, I'd rather pay a lil more for nicer digs. One night is one thing (I'm low-maintenance), but if I'm gonna be sleeping somewhere for a few nights I need something to make me feel comfortable & at home.

    • It was a dream come true for a fan of Motley Crue. For one night, he filled in for injured drummer Tommy Lee.

The lucky guy, Harvey Warren, performed with the rock band Wednesday at the Enmax Center in Red Deer, Alberta, Canada, Motley Crue's publicist, Dvora Vener Englefield, said in a statement.

"After playing multiple shows wearing a brace and taking anti-inflammatory injections, Tommy Lee's doctor instructed him to give his injured right wrist a break after his tendinitis made it difficult for him to perform," Englefield said.

Warren, a Calgary resident who manages a Starbucks by day, moonlights as a drummer in the Canadian Motley Crue tribute band Broken Toyz.

In an oddly related story, Warren married both Pamela Anderson and Heather Locklear yesterday.

Christ you guys are lucky. The cheapest roundtrip from DFW to Seattle is $438 right now, which basically puts me out.

Damn American Airlines. They have a monopoly in DFW.
