Yeah, that sounds good. I guess my parents would have done the same thing, except I always wanted to be as far away from them as possible anyway. They didn't have to ask for me to be anywhere but home, lol.

I think my parents figured out quick that it's actually cheaper to buy shit like rollerblades & water guns (I even had my very own bike for a couple years!) Than to pay the electricity bill for a kid at home all day in the air conditioning, with the lights & the tv on, eating everything in the kitchen out of boredom.

Hair appointments. My 11 year old is excited to get her hair almost all cut off. It makes the mama in me cringe, but it'll be cute and she's growing up. :sigh: WAY growing up.
