England is not laughing at Obama...Russia maybe, but Russia is the bully who got their ass kicked but are unable, due to their huge ego, to come to terms with it. So, Russia's views are meaningless to me--especially considering their stance on Syria.

The funny thing about Clinton/Obama is that Obama has been quite (forced to be) centrist in his economic policy. It is difficult, maybe impossible, to compare the two in detail--due to differing circumstances Post-H.W. Bush and Post- W. Bush--but the same approach--taxation, gov't spending, gov't role in job creation--are similar.

I would disagree with forced to be, one of my friends who is majoring in political science Calls Clinton and Obama the most successful Conservitive Presidents ever (he is also a pretty right wing guy)

Romney or Obama? Whatever, they're the same to me. War will continue, we'll go further in to debt, the FED will continue to print stupid amounts of money and my rights will continue to be taken away. Little would change in my mind.

    What an entertaining thread!

For those saying Obama will kick Romney's ass, don't be so sure. You're underestimating the religious right and old racist people's reliability in actually going to vote, as opposed to the American democrat's voter apathy.

Either way, the government will still just spend most of its time disagreeing with one another and blocking each other at every turn, even when it's good for the country not to. Most politicians simply want to stay in power. I don't personally think that's Obama's prime motivation (shockingly), but with every republican in federal office making sure he's ineffective, he's not going to be able to be anymore useful than Romney (which is not at all.... isn't anyone uncomfortable with a president who is that rich??).

How is "that rich" defined and why is it a bad thing? And if it is, by whose standards? Who has deemed it so?

From what I understand, his wealth was earned and much has been donated...like many others.

And - you obviously put thought into this and other issues as I've seen here, and it's appreciated, but why the need to use that paintbrush about voters on either side?

    I'm sick of sides.
