    This will be second year going. I loved the line up last year from top to bottom. This year it's a good line up but not as good as last year in my opinion. Got presale tickets for $200 so i'm happy with that price for 4 days of a festival. Most excited for Foos and Arctic Monkeys. I actually lucked out and was able to book two nights at Dover Downs for Wed and Thursday when it was first announced that it would expand to four days. If i run into any of the artists I'll share stories since many stay there. I live in Wilmington so I'll just drive in on Saturday and Sunday when the traffic will be way lighter.

    "Big announcments" every hour today.
    So far the tickets went back on sale, they are matching donations for charity, and the merch is discounted. They hinted at more artist announcements later in the afternoon when everyone complained that a merch sale isn't a 'big announcement'. haha

    How was Firefly, anyone?

    I knew a few friends who went so kinda followed them through facebook. Sounded like people had a good time. Foo's looked like to be the best one there,

    I went all 4 days. Saw 23 acts. Had a great time! 80% going to go again next year, dependent on the line up.
    Notable acts were Foo Fighters (I had front row :D ), Cage the Elephant, Weezer, Third Eye Blind, and Kongos. I felt that alot more covers were played than usual. Also got several songs off the act's next album.

    The negatives: Crowd was just as big, if not bigger, than last year. Which translated to crowded views and long lines for water/food. Also, the new expanded area had very little grass, causing a huge dust cloud in the air.

    My count was also 23...My standouts included Foo Fighters, Weezer, Phantogram (!!!), Beck (3rd row), Third Eye Blind, Courtney Barnett, Ziggy Marley, Tuneyards, Goldroom, Cage the Elephant, Chance the Rapper, City and Color, and Aer. Honestly, everyone that I saw was pretty awesome.

    Negatives? Firefly was a dust bowl. Outkast singing So Fresh and So Clean, Clean to the most filthy audience you can imagine... The omnipresent mobile telephones. Only ONE set of showers, and one set of decent bathrooms, located absolutely no where near my campsite. Chicks rinsing off and shampooing and conditioning with the drinking water.

    Just read on festivalsnobs that Paul McCartney is rumored to headline.
    Dave Matthew's also has a gap in his tour schedule that FF fits into, would not be surprised with that.

    I really hope FF lineup is better than Hangout/Roo/Gov Ball...

    I dunno frankie. Last night they announce a few of the bands at the Troc and they were on this poster. Spoon, Run The Jewels, Empire Of The Sun and a few others. We'll see later this week i suppose
