I thought the White Back Spacer sold for more than $25. Your link dont work above.
    It was definitely $25

Yeah, I found it on page 9 or 10 of the link. For some reason I thought it was $60. I must be slipping

Thanks for the heads up Aussie. If I had the money I would be all over this.

If spending $1500 on an album makes some one happy whats wrong with that. Some people spend that on Baseball cards, Wine, and other crap I dont care about. So if spending money makes some one happy mind ur biz ;)

Thanks Don. It's no biggie, but once again a price was posted and still people have to voice their displeasure or disagreement. We're back to the old "if you don't like the price, then don't buy it and move on - don't de-rail the thread" scenario.
I think everyone should start telling all of the sellers what they think their stuff is worth when they try to sell it here if they don't like their prices - it could be fun!!! We can piss off the sellers and scare off the buyers simultaneously!!!:lol::lol:
If this was an item I was trying to sell personally, I'd be absolutely furious right now.
The Benny was what, $45.00 upon issue??? And now it's $1200.00 - $2000.00 + for a sealed copy, and there were 2000 of those.........
It's time to start being selfish and just share finds with friends ;)
I spent $1625.00 on mine and have no regrets. Each to his own I guess
I'll keep takin' punches until their will grows tired... Hey I won't change direction and I won't change my mind.......

Sounds like this is yours the way you are carrying on about it. Big deal, people don't like your price. Move on. I don't see the point in getting all worked up about it.

People need to have thicker skin around here and not get so defensive when someone has an objection. Thats all it is. An objection. Dont take it so personal. It's a part of every sale. Did ya really think every single person was gonna accept this as a fair deal when it was given away for free initially?

I would pay this if I was I the market. However, I have other priorities right now. Good luck with your sale.

  • To each their own man, don't let it bug ya. As any collector will tell you, hard-core Pj collecting or really any serious collecting is expensive. Anybody that collects based on what the original prices of something were would'nt get very far since they'd be so preoccupied with how much everything costs. Anything cool and limited especially anything related to Pj almost immediately rises in value sharply. Its supply and demand and 500 copies of an official Pj vinyl means its rare and probably gonna cost ya. Pj vinyl prices are a good example. Take any other popular grunge band and you can pick up their first pressings for relatively cheap compared to the prices Pj's vinyl currently goes for. That's just the way it is. I think speculation is part of it which is concerning. That is, people buying not cause they like it or want it but because they think its an investment. For anyone familiar with comics, you'll know that speculation almost destroyed them in the 90's. If I had the $$ though, I'd strongly consider this. I appreciate you letting us know about it. For anybody that wants 1, its probably better then having to get in a bidding war to own. I deffinitely would'nt have some cool things I own if not for others looking out. It is a lot of money and not everybody will be down with that. That's fine, but again this is just the nature of the Pj beast. To each their own..

What's the motivation to "voice an objection" on a transaction one has no interest in taking part in? If it's anything beyond envy, I'm not seeing it. It's ok to be greedy when it comes to some of these items, but let's not attempt to mask it while on the moral high ground.

FYI- it sounds the same. :D I was lucky enough to have one mailed to me for free by Santa. I had to open it to check it out and listen. At somepoint, I will get it mounted framed, it is pretty awesome. I can't stomach selling it for a huge sum (unless it was for a good cause), but at some point would be willing to trade. So until that time comes best of luck, cheers!

I bet one could trade a Benaroya Hall for this thing. But remember one thing, fans/collectors set the market value on something. If none of them sold at these outrageous prices, then it wouldn't be worth what it currently is.
