    That was pretty underwhelming to be honest. I guess it was written for a film so I won't judge too harshly.

    That intro guitar riff should've been used in.... oh i dunno... a song thats actually heavy?

    The verses and chorus's are a little too soft and generic for the riff. They dont go together. The last third of the songs is pretty good though. Digging the solo out of nowhere and from there on.

    edit: I can see how this song probably wont be on the album. It has that generic movie soundtrack sound to it. If it is on the album then I just hope its not the lead single.

    indeed it doesnt fit at all, the riff is okej but rest is boring it doesnt fit together..

    Eh, I like it. At first I wasn't sure about the vocal during the chorus, bit more subtle than I was expecting, but it kind of creeps up on you.......

    I was a little worried until Kim’s solo kicked in (awesome as always), but that still doesn’t save it from being a letdown. Sounds too much like a Chris solo song. As eclectic as their past albums have been, I'm pretty confident this isn't indicative of what we’re going to be hearing this fall.

    Well people were complaining that that riff was predictable, so then they threw a curve ball with the mellow verses and people complained that that was predictable......I dunno.........

    It's definitely a grower - after 15 or so years it's hard not to set expectations sky high, but for a soundtrack song to a superhero movie it's a solid effort.

    Id say it sounded more like a euphoria morning song and only a little bit of an audioslave song. What really makes it sound like soundgarden is Matts drumming, and also Kims guitar tone. I guess thats enough to make it sound like a soundgarden song on paper, but it sorta doesnt sound like it enough.

    Im gonna be optimistic here and say this song was this way because its a movie song, and whats coming on the album will be alot more unique with odd time signatures and eclectic sounds/ whatever else makes soundgarden.
