That's horrible. What kind of jackass does that to someone? Stomping someone's head is a horrid thing to do, but it's so much worse when you know it doesn't even take that much to kill someone due to his medical condition. It's just sickening.

one of my best friends got the same thing done to him out of nowhere at a 7-11 when a guy we both knew attacked and curb stomped him because he was on acid and thought he was laughing at him.

that was 20 years ago. nothing is worse. people are the same. it's just more widely reported now.

This made me cry, so sad! As someone who has epilepsy I think this is f-ing disgusting! Watching him have that first seizure was so sad because I know just how scary it is. When I had my first Grand Mal (one where you are one the ground shaking) I honestly thought I was dying because my legs went on me and and I couldn't talk even though my Mum was begging me to tell her what was wrong. :(
Absolutely disgraceful that this poor kid has to be scared in his own town, these kids should pay big consequences!

One of my greatest fears is that I will get a call one day saying my child is a bully.

I won't watch this. As a parent of a child with Down syndrome, these sorts of threads get me pissed off. What message exactly are you trying to relay by posting it, Godfather? Really, what motivates someone to post awful things like this? You CLEARLY do not have children when you post this. Because parents fear something like this happening to their child straight down to the bottom of their souls. We don't need to watch any more bullies hurting our kids, especially the kids who are most at risk of being bullied. :x :x

Give her a break, Cincy...I know she's where she's at and she kinda has a point...I would say this, base on Gf's response to the the "oppression" post, it could be said he has agenda for posting this....

Sorry you're upset, but I do think the anger is a bit misplaced... whatever GF's intentions are, it is very often terrible news stories like this that actually encourage people to take action against bullying on local levels. So I don't think it's bad to share stories like this... they tend to raise awareness of the issue of bullying and other issues such as discrimination.

godfather reported to us the news he found alarming, disgusting and stuff. godfather is a father and a caring one from what i have read on his posts.

your message here states that parents should not post stories filled with horrorific events filled with children and children with disabilities.

godfather did nothing wrong when opening this thread.

That's nice to defend Godfather, but I asked him his motives for posting it and got no answer. Those who speak for him can save your typing, because I stand by my opinion.

Only sick people enjoy viewing other people's tragedies, it is NOT awareness. It is voyeurism. No one needs to view a tragic beating to understand the underlying problems we have with bullying. Awareness is talking about the issue and solutions, not viewing horrible situations. Are you people for real? There's a movie that's coming out about bullying if you really want to know, and because of the graphic language, it's been labeled unrated or R, which defeats the purpose of raising awareness among kids. What the movie is not, is a bunch of scenes of various bullying situations, because we all know what a bullying situation entails. It actually is about how those bullied are feeling.

If Godfather gave one damn about how an epileptic person feels about being bullied, he wouldn't have posted it. This is about viewing a train wreck and nothing else. I have seen so many threads over the years posted on these forums with videos of someone's personal tragedies for all to see and share and exploit. There is something deeply wrong with the human psyche to enjoy watching someone else's personal Hell. I've been there, and refuse to take part in any of this other than to throw it back that it is deeply deranged and wrong to do it.

The only thing to learn from this video is how to bully another person. There is no awareness, it just glorifies bullying, and bullying those who have little or no defenses. It's wrong, wrong, WRONG.

i watched the fucking video once and witnessed a kid stomping on another.

you actually believe there is something wrong with me because i want to make up my own mind and watch the video?

that fight wasn't shit. i been in worse brawls than that by 10 fold. did the kid get stitches? a black eye? did he get a broken nose?

sure it is brutal to stomp someone. i am not the bad guy for viewing the altercation

Your attitude is EXACTLY what's wrong with humanity. May you never be in a bad situation where you are victimized, violated, or attacked.

And yes, you are completely desensitized if you choose to view a video of a disabled person being stomped by a bully. And one wonders why there's so much violence and oppression in the world...

I have been attacked (was years ago - honestly forget it happened most of the time. Didn't even occur to me u til right now). :? Unfortunately it wasn't caught on video, so the people were never identified.
(If anyone's curious, I was walking a lone, a van with 3 or 4 guys in it pulled over, one dude jumped out the side and punched me and then tried to drag me into the van, but I had my keys between my knuckles as always when alone at night, and I managed to punch him in the throat with them and luckily he kind of freaked and they took Hoffman I don't think they were expecting resistance thank goodness. It hadn't occurred to me until now that it wwould have been good if a video existed. I never even called the cops because I had nothing to go on. No license plate, and useless description).

Wrong. You are desensitized if you can watch it and not feel sick about it. The video is what keeps people from beng desensitized, without it, it just words on a page.

This is getting really old. You have to be utterly sick to voluntarily watch a person that's disabled being stomped on by a bully. SICK.

Honestly, I am so tired of hearing about the lack of empathy and compassion at schools these days. What happened to teaching children to care about others and to be kind to other people?

Bullies seem to get free reign to do whatever the hell they're gonna do. Why aren't THEY the ones having to leave school in a case like this?

The person who is hurt is the one who has to leave? That seems so backward and wrong!

when watching the video i do not see a disabled kid. no one would know he was a child with a disability unless he or his parents informed us citizens. in this case they did inform everyone. now we (the folks outside of the boy's community) know
