Bah, this is nothing in the grand scheme of ed flubs; a little shakey at first but it got back on track.
Check out ANY version of Life Wasted since the 06 tour. That song has been trainwrecked a million times between ed forgetting lyrics, getting verses mixed up, improvising "lyrics" etc. and the guitar interplay between Stone and Mike. I usually just skip over the song now because I know it's going to be a disaster.

I seem to remember thinking Big Wave, Calgary 2011 was pretty horrendous. I'm not sure what Ed was singing?
Like a book among the many on a shelf...
Dublin 02 Arena - 22/6/10. Belfast Odyssey Arena - 23/6/10. London Hyde Park - 25/6/10. Berlin Wuhlheide - 30/6/10.

Ed says "this one's for the connisseur" before the band breaks out w/Alone.
Midway through the song Ed forgets the 2nd verse, mumbles a bit, can't remember the lyrics and the band just stops playing. The crowds going nuts yelling "play it again" so after about a minute they launch right back into the spot they left off and finish up beautifully.
Before the next song Ed says kind of apoligitically "At least I know this one" as the first chords of Jeremy are heard, but as soon as he starts to sing he forgets the opening lyrics to this one too. hee-hee.
Also at his solo show in Honolulu in '09 he just couldn't remember the words to Crazy Mary so he pulled a fan up on stage who sat on the floor in front of him and coached him through it.
he just wrote new lyrics for that version...on stage.
"...Dimitri...He talks to me...'.."The Ghost of Greece..".
"..That's One Happy Fuckin Ghost.."
“..That came up on the Pillow Case...This is for the Greek, With Our Apologies.....”
you guys obviously dont listen to as many boots of thier as i do....LOL....LOL...jk...kinda...
first on any list and guarentee the band would agree with me on this one...
Immortality...
of the hundreds of times they've played this...and they still play it...
well over 75% of the time...the lyrics and sometimes complete verses are not sung...
Eds got this one so confused...heck..i cant even sing the song anymore...i now butcher it as well..
its actually kind of cool though cause its the only one i've found that consistantly gets played and ed plain dont know the lyrics or has flat out forgot them...
like it said...its in a good way..
cause i love how they keep playing it...and i love when the crowd starts singing it..and then ed goes...oh yeah and jump into the correct verse...
"Model, role model rosa...... ehdy in love, already in love."
"Model, role model, rumn dahhh fuck...."
He goes back to role model 3 times in less than a minute and it's so funny, but it was a spur of the moment thing?
"Already, in love, ..solo or something?"
I got some if you need it.

Breath hearts me the most. Allways sad when (=allways) Eddie fucks that up.
Evacuation Washington 10 was a disaster. They stopped the song. And it wasn't Eddies fault if I remember!
Satan's Bed 03 is a "classic" that allways get mentioned.
But Breath is the worst. He should get the lyrics to that one!

Like someone said, Immortality has had a rough ride over the years. There's a pretty recent boot from 2010 or 11 with the classic line, "Holyficial tears, vessel stabbed, next up volunteers" Ed is class!!
Also whoever said Evacuation, almost every version on the Euro 2000 leg had a verse missing, repeated or in the wrong order so that's definately worth a mention! I love Evacuation for the record!!

one of my fave pj concert moments
betterman at msg 2 08. Ed sings the second verse and catches himself right away. band restarts the song and goes on to be a great version of betterman i've witnessed.
Ron: I just don't feel like going out tonight
Sammi: Wanna just break up?
Create a setlist with the usual songs where Ed messes up the lyrics. This would create the ultimate trainwreck concert. It would be a great novelty two disc set for the hardcore fans.

+1 That was one of the best PJ moments for me. He made fun of himself during the song several times for f'n it up so bad, and at one point just quit singing, shrugged his shoulders and started chugging wine while the band kept playing. I was in the wings and towards the end of the show (I think during RITFW) I remember seeing Pete Sampras drinking, smoking and rocking out behind the stage. Not the best technical performance, but one of my favorite shows.
