I don't know where to post this but just got a EV shirt in the mail today, the shirts run big. I bought a large and it's like an XL. Just a little heads up.

Enjoy your day!

Just contact the 10C - they have always been fair about trading out the sizes for you. You just have to pay for the shipping to get it there

Thanks Rog. Before bothering them, I figured I would see if I can knock out 2 birds (my too big of a shirt + someone else's too small of a shirt) with 1 Stone Gossard

I am a wonderfully sculpted 225lbs (6') - pretty sure the XL I ordered will be good - and that a L would be too small. Agree?

Oh - and by wonderfully sculpted - I mean kinda outta shape round.

    Cheers

Will be fine. I got EV pick shirt in a Large and it's true to size for me. I don't find it to be bigger then a typical large size shirt...

They'll probably shrink a tad I hope? I bought a L which I usually get. If it's like the same brand as the Into the Wild shirt (that came with the CD preorder) or the 2008 or 2010 tour shirts PJ had, I hope it will be OK. Those are all fine for me.

    What does the tag say?

    its pre shrunk unfortunately.
I don't know what I was doing going with the XL. Actually, I was so worried after seeing how the EV Uke shirts from Volcom ran tight that I thought I would play it safe with the XL. I guess if the wifey and I need a new twist at night, we can both fit in the XL lol....I wont do that though for a bit to see if anyone here wants to trade their L for my XL

Yeah that Volcom shirt (L) even looks small on me and I'm 145 pounds... it's the skinny-skater-who-wants-sleeves-? look. I did notice the EV logo white shirt, the model wearing it, the sleeves look way longer like a more traditional old school shirt. Hopefully mine arrived today. You know I just had to get a shirt with my initials, ElwayVedder, right? Couldn't help it...

shit i guess i'll be fucked on my medium then... jeff should i get a XS?

wow... this medium i just got is HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGEEEEEEEEEE. I mean even if I ordered a large, I would be like "wow, this is big for a large". sending it back.
  • Yeah I got my XL white '09 shirt yesterday and it is friggin' huge. And unfortunately I know for a fact that a size large in Bayside Organic is too small for me. I wish they would you use Anvil Organic all the time. Their shirts are softer and are much less boxy. I think they like Bayside cause they're made in the USA.
Anyways there is a woman I work with who says she can turn a big boxy shirt into a more form fitting shirt with just her sewing machine and a pair of scissors. I might give it a try. Besides, if she fucks it up it's only $20 down the drain.

My Large is much bigger then the average Large, currently awaiting a response
From ten club about exchanging it for a medium....

 That's awesome! It's about time the OTHER EV gets some credit around here. ;)

No, if they run big there is no way I could trade for the XL. I might need to switch it back for a Medium, which I cannot believe I might need to do... was hoping it would come today but I guess I gotta wait a little more.

    Got mine yesterday. Definitely gigantic!
I'm sure that it will shrink a little even if it's "preshrunk"... any cotton shirt I put in the dryer gets a little smaller. But I don't think a little will cut it. I e-mailed ten club this morning to request an exchange for a medium. Hopefully they won't run out of Mediums before it gets to them.

Edit: I was just thinking, I should take a picture of the EV L shirt laying out right next to the 2006 L tour shirts. :)

Is it the same brand as the "stars" shirt? Bayside Organic? Anvil Organic is not as huge as these, I've gotten quite a few of those. But the Bayside Org Large is like the longest shirt I've bought since maybe mid-90s concert shirts!

Dwhite you are coming to ABQ right?!
