^ I totally didn't plan that to be in alphabetical order. I should also add that I could easily add another five without much thought.

I had forgotten about Vacation, love that move. Also Some Kind Of Wonderful, Girls Just Want to Have Fun and of course Lost Boys... Maybe the topic should have been top 10 movies of the 80's.

It was rough leaving Bachelor Party, Airplane, and Bull Durham off. The Lost Boys was a great movie as well. Too many good ones to choose from.

I like those Best Picture movies. Yeah...I'm one of 'those people'. So my favorite movies from the 80's are:

    1. Out of Africa
    2. Amadeus
    3. The Breakfast Club
    4. The Big Chill
    5. Working Girl

I also really like Dead Poet's Society, Children of a Lesser God, Witness, Platoon, The Killing Fields, Purple Rain, St Elmo's Fire, The Empire Strikes Back, and Tootsie quite a bit. But Out of Africa is not only one of my favorite movies of the 80's...but one of my top 3 movies of all time.

    1. Back to the Future
    2. Beverly Hills Cop
    3. Lethal Weapon
    4. First Blood
    5. Full Metal Jacket

Also, I just saw Hot Tub Time Machine the other night. Can I say that was hilarious and cleverly done. The guys go back in time to 1986 via a hot tub and a few of the people in the 80's are Crispin Glover aka George McFly, Chevy Chase, and the greatest 80's movie douche of all time William Zabka aka Johnny Lawrence in Karate Kid.
He who forgets will be destined to remember.

    5/17/10 Boston, 10/15/13 Worcester, 10/16/13 Worcester, 10/25/13 Hartford
    8/5/16 Fenway, 8/7/16 Fenway
EV Solo: 6/16/11 Boston, 6/18/11 Hartford,
