I'm hoping this is just one date(s) of many on the tour. Unfortunately, I can't shell out that much money to do another "destination" weekend. Plus, my boyfriend and PJ show partner is getting deployed to Afghanistan in August, so it is NOT happening for me. But, I believe with this rumor and other hints that have been given likely a US tour is definitely shaping up. I really hope Pittsburgh gets a show this time around!!!

Sorry dude...NYC comes in about 100th place for "places that never get PJ shows."

Everyone wants to see them; sometimes you have to travel to do it. Join the club. I've NOT traveled 3 times out of 10. Deal with it.

If this is true I think it will be a regular show (or two) amongst other tour dates. And I will be there! PLEASE let this be true :geek:
To book or not to book a room... We do only live a few hours from Alpine so even if not true, it will still make a nice Labor Day weekend.
Unless Alpine finally allows camping this year, then I am tenting it!

IF this is true, I'll be there, with bells on, ready to party!! BRING IT ON
The thing I like most about time is that it's not real. It's all in the head. Sure, it's a useful trick to use if you want to meet someone at a specific place in the universe and have tea or coffee- but that's all it is- a trick. There is no such thing as the past. It exists only in the memory. There is no such thing as the future. It exists only in our imagination. If our watches were truly accurate, the only thing they would ever say is "Now". That's what time it is. It's "Now". - Damien Echols

Eek!! I That would literally be well over a £1000 to go.. Thats my next years college course costs... & I study 3 courses!! As PJ has a global following it's a shame they are not taking the PJ festi further afield. Reach more fans. Great news for all the early birds though. Well done all on keeping the faith.

I hope this is bullshit. And lets be honest it wasn't too difficult to figure it was AV last year was it?

I didn't go PJ20 but I felt it was a one time thing. PJ21 at AV would just seem to be an easy money-making scheme - "why tour the country (or a little of the country) when they will come to us?"

If they are going to make this an annual thing, at least take it to other places. Do a weekend at Wulheide, or find somewhere in Australia, or the UK, or South America. Or even somewhere else in the States, like a place they haven't been too in years.

Fans of the band that ends up playing Alpine for labor day are going to have a tough time finding a hotel! I just don't see pj ruining the pj20 experience with a pj21. The things you do more money sometimes

Now, pj25 has a nice ring to it!

Also, it's tough to believe the biggest goof on the board!

He was spot on last year.

I will never get the bitching. My favorite band decides to do another "festival"-type weekend or an annual show Labor Day weekend at a venue. I think it's pretty damn sweet. Sure, it's not convenient for EVERYONE but they can't be everywhere all the time. Esp. if they're not doing 50 show tours (which I don't blame them- it has to be fucking brutal esp. with young families) and doing short legs then I see an annual thing like this as extremely positive. Regardless of where it is. If they move it- great, if not- great.

(hopefully) Looking forward to Labor Day weekend!

    Guys,
Sawyer is absolutely right on this one. It's happening this year AND next year for sure. THESE ARE DONE DEALS!!! Posted this on another thread. My cousin and best friend, both work for Sheriff's dept in Walworth County(home of AV) confirmed this last year to me in February. If you are planning on going, start making plans now.

if in fact the 3 yr deal is true then i think it will happen. the band has said that pj20 was an "experiment" for future weekend fests. i don't think it will be promoted the same, like i could see them not doing the museum. but if they have a venue that will allow them to do the stuff for ten club members and get tickets for most of us then i think it is a done deal. i think it will probably be the only show this year in the states while they are putting together the new record and all the other stuff going on also.
    nothing as it seems.....

The rumor mill on this is making me crazy. I would rather see them do some shows in places they haven't been for awhile (like southern US  ) than do the same thing as last year. Spread the love. :?
