Pinterest and won't get off it. We were going to have sex last night and she says "hold on, give me a couple of minutes here" while were both laying in bed. So right now my wife's favorite forms of foreplay areme doing the dishes and Pinterest. We had sex but it was a little delayed because of this. I asked her if there was a Pornterest and low and behold....

    whatever it is, that interferes with a marriage, should be reviewed. that's part of why we have each other, make sure we don't grow into a box, make sure we grow with each other.

    Pinterest is going to cost us a fortune because of all the home decorating ideas my wife is getting. Her "Don't you like this? Don't you like that?" Me, they're lovely honey can you take you clothes off now? :lol:

    So I had to Google this and saw all these posts about baby announcements, how to kill wasps, and a nice photo of a lake house.

    It interested me not in the tiniest measure.

    Well, I don't think it's only that...although maybe some unimaginative people use it as only that. ;)

    I use it to sort of organize my thoughts. I have one pinboard for cool little decorating ideas I want to try that use everyday objects in unique ways. I have another for bread recipes I want to try (I bake bread as a sort of hobby). One for low-fat recipes that don't look gross. I have another for places I'd like to travel some day. I have one for really cool art I've seen that displays a unique idea of some kind. Stuff like that.

    But then I have silly ones too - pictures of my favorite movie stars. Pictures of my favorite rock stars.

    And then I have a few that are more for my friends than for me. Good books I've read. These are really more for my friends than for me - maybe they want to see what I've been reading and think is good? I know that I look at their "good books I've read" pinboard to get recommendations, so I stick one up too for them to check, if they desire.

    I know artists who use Pinterest to organize ideas for their work by color, theme, etc. I'd like to do this myself when I have time, to organize some of my ideas for my graphic art. I have one friend who is a writer, and she has a pinboard for locations she'd like to use in her stories. I have seen people have pinboards for bucket lists....ideas for Christmas/birthday gifts, etc.

    Now, I WILL say that I'd still rather have sex. :lol: But Pinterest is more than just a place to catalog your conspicuous consumption and/or your lust for other people's shit. :lol:
