I greatly enjoyed touring the cornfields and gazing at the large cows.
We also enjoyed the drive through at McDonald's. Or was that Wendy's? Burger King?!?
And the Piggly Wiggly was everything I'd hoped it would be.
The music didn't suck, either.
I would go back in a heartbeat.15 years of sharks 06/30/08 (MA), 05/17/10 (Boston), 09/03/11 (Alpine Valley), 09/04/11 (Alpine Valley), 09/30/12 (Missoula), 07/19/13 (Wrigley), 10/15/13 (Worcester), 10/16/13 (Worcester), 10/25/13 (Hartford), 12/4/13 (Vancouver), 12/6/13 (Seattle), 6/26/14 (Berlin), 6/28/14 (Stockholm), 10/16/14 (Detroit)0 -

Is that a big deal? I used to work in East Troy and have lived in Wisconsin my whole life, so I've always known alcohol sold in stores till 9, bartime at 2. I vacationed once in Clearwater, FL, and I think we couldn't get booze on a Sunday night. Also, ET is a horrible shit town (like the Live song), so if you stay at AV you want to go to Lake Geneva, Elkhorn or Waterford. Don't bother with East Troy!0 -

It was a pleasant suprise, in Texas, only beer and wine can be sold on Sundays and only between the hours of 12 noon and midnight.0 -

Yep, in Indiana no alcohol sales at all on Sundays unless you go to a bar or restaurant.1998 - Noblesville

Im with RM22 on this.
It was a great trip and a wonderful weekend. Wisconsin was cool.
However that was that. There is no way that PJ21 at Alpine will out-do or be better than PJ20 at Alpine. From personal experience, in our party days, the greatest parties that my friends or I have thrown always failed if we tried to replicate them shortly after.
It would be cool, but not the same electricity. It wont be as much of a pilgrimage for everyone.
Personally, Ill splurge on a different location. I would love to go to Gorge. Maybe somewhere in Cali. I would love to hit Seattle again, etc...0 -

Exactly. They couldn't even sell out PJ20 there on a holiday weekend.Member 164xxx

Sure, it would be awesome if they did something on Labor Day at a different location, I'd love to make it to the Gorge sometime. But we can only go where the band plays and the rumors that people heard were about Alpine. I don't think it would out do last year either but it would still be fun to meet up with some people from here and tailgate. I'd rather them announce a fall US tour than another Labor Day weekend show at Alpine, but if they do I'd go again.1998 - Noblesville
