Just thought i'd take the time to wish this man a happy 50th birthday.
I know he's not a big favorite of a lot of people around here, so please do me a favour and keep the hating to a minimum and clean.

They were my first concert! Saw them last year, it was great!
Happy Birthday Jon!!!
Excellent!
I LOVE Bon Jovi - one of my top bands of all time. Simply put, their music is just one heck of a great time! I saw them live last May in Atlanta, and they were fabulous - put on one of the best shows I have seen in a long time...and they had the entire arena on their feet the entire show. I would totally go and see them again - it was a blast!
Hipsters...erm...I mean, haters gotta hate. But I don't care. I love Bon Jovi!!!
Happy Birthday, Jon! Great band, great singer...and by all accounts, a great guy!
"..That's One Happy Fuckin Ghost.."
“..That came up on the Pillow Case...This is for the Greek, With Our Apologies.....”
Pandora - did you go to the show last year in Atlanta? It was such a great time - Phillips Arena was totally packed and the whole place was singing and dancing along - it was great!
Also, I love that song too. Probably my favorite Bon Jovi song.
I was so excited when they sang it...but the song that really brought down the house was Bad Medicine. I think everyone was out of their seats singing and dancing on that one. And You Give Love A Bad Name also.
I gotta say its kinda odd thinking of one of these guys being 50. The PJ guys are heading that way of course & yeah that will be odd. ha ha Aren't rock stars always in their 20s?

I'm the same! I worshiped Jon over my teens, but then I got older and more mature, and found a better man and better music!

Stevie Ray Vaughan is dead...and we can't get Jon Bon Jovi in a helicopter. Come on, folks. "Get on that helicopter Jon. Shut the fuck up and get on that helicopter! There's a hair dresser in there. Yeah, go ahead in there, yeah yeah."

Keep The Faith
In These Arms
Blaze of Glory - JBJ solo for Young Guns II
Miracle - JBJ solo for Young Guns II
And at some point there was Livin on a Prayer acoustic -- LOVED that.
p.s. Today is the love of my life's special birthday, too.
You're right. You are a monster! You are sick! Get help!
At least, I am not a fuck-up! A lying fuck-up!
awww wish him a happy birthday from us.
First, I think it's cute about your kiddo! Gotta get 'em into PJ too...but Bon Jovi is a great start!
As for my fave Bon Jovi songs, I'll go with:
1. Wanted Dead Or Alive
2. Bad Medicine
3. Livin' On a Prayer
4. It's My Life
5. You Give Love a Bad Name
Others I love: Who Says You Can't Go Home, Have a Nice Day, I'll Be There For You, Born to Be My Baby, Lost Highway, Blaze of Glory (Jon), Bed of Roses (you should have seen the girls up in the $1,000 seats swoon when they sang this one! )

PEARL JAM- 12/6/13 I have finally seen Pearl Jam live!
Yes it is! And I didn't realize how awesome it would be live until I was there when they played it. It was by far the best live song at the Atlanta show I saw last May....and they played EVERYTHING, so that's saying a lot! I don't think there was a single butt in a seat during that one...and Phillips Arena (the venue) is HUGE. Everyone was dancing and singing along. What a BLAST!!

was probably one of the best live shows i've seen.
trust me on that
That's so true. Still a lot of great people making great music into their 50s.
I loved Bon Jovi back in their 80s heyday. I have only liked a few songs since then but I still have respect for them.
