In My Tree Vs Light Years

these are two of my favorites. they both talk about isolation, longing, and loss.i can't decide which one i love more. which would you pick?

    I'm partial to In My Tree. Spoke to me personally the first time I heard it and still kinda fits to this day.

    listen to 'In my tree' from Melbourne 1998 with that jack irons intro and it will make up your mind. Its a top song

    I realy think they are 2 totaly different songs. Thats what makes ir hard to choose one I like better.

    Light years is more radio friendly sounding and In my tree is more b side sounding. I love them both but I would say ive listened to Light Years a lot more.
    Some words when spoken...Can't be taken back...

    In My Tree.

    When No Code came out, for some reason it was the first song I heard off the record...and I loved it. I played drums in my youth...and so needless to say, it caught my attention quickly.

    I really like Light Years a lot and this is by no means a dis. But In My Tree edges it out for me.

    Awesome question.
    I LOVE Light Years so much, but if someone put a gun to my head i'd have to go with In My Tree. The drums are SO good, and the way the bass is subtle but adds so much, and the vocals kind of rise up and turn to rock and this great power behind them in the chorus... it's an awesome song. They both are.
