I admire your choice for the office, I'm also a Paul supporter and I understand he would be there and would be a voice (Maybe). With Romney? I just don't see him getting to use it much and that's just my thought. I think you are a little ignorant as to what president of the senate entitles you. You get to vote if there is a tie. Ties are incredibly rare. The modern VP rarely even presides over the Senate. He can influence legislation, I guess. Doesn't mean the Senators would listen to him. A lot of people don't even know who Joe Biden is.
Thanks for the input.
I get that he may not get too much say, but I think Romney would throw him a bone here or there, which would certainly impact policy more than his singular vote in the Senate. That's my point. I do understand the role of the President of the Senate. I just think he'd have more power with policy as VP, then his single vote in the Senate. In fact, a prominent role, like VP, for a man who's basically a libertarian could alter the party's trajectory entirely. In my opinion, that's what he aims to do.
