I have reason to believe these need to be checked out. I would not intentionally rip anyone off and hate the way I'm feeling right now knowing that I may have been taken advantage of. I may just have a really overpriced Avocado LP, at least it's a great album :(.

I'm really just wanting to play some records and thought this would be a way to make that happen, plus help another out that would like to display the album.

Whomever I make a deal with if you get the album in the mail and you aren't happy with it for any reason a trade back is fine. I'm really wanting to be fair and both party's happy.

Whatever makes you happy, Robley. Seems like you've thought this through :D

I'm gonna send the LP to released1980 and have him take it to his peps to verify the Sigs and anything else he needs to. After that he'll send the other things. Timmy is a good dude I've traded with before so he has my trust always ;).

After talking to a few of you on the board about how to get some of the pj albums back I'm now looking at trading my signed Avocado lp. Very beautiful and I love it, but money is a little tight and would hope I can get three pieces of music for it. The records are mint never played and the jacket is pretty mint also. I know that there's a great PJ home out there where this can be displayed properly in a man or woman cave. As always I'm not that worried about the jackets on the records as long as the actual record is mint or doesn't skip. I'm really gonna just play them

Yes, i wouldnt be sure on these at all....Stone's looks nothing like. Jeffs has been rejoined in places it seems, - doesnt look too 'freehand'....the Vedder doesnt seem good either...its hard to see Mikes mind.....

there is also no visible difference in the pen pressures for the vedder and cameron (not the biggest point as it appears to be done in sharpie - so the ink would be rather smooth).....

I just wouldnt be happy with it.

Do you mean PSA? i really wouldnt waste your time. seriously.

Thanks Bud for the info. I was actually talking about JSA James Spence Authenticaters. I know PSA seems to be a good one to that Ralph sent me to. It's gonna cost about $100 to get done. I'll prob take your advice and not put anymore money into this. I'll see on getting some sort of refund.

    Thanks again

The EV signature definitely sets off alarm bells. Matt's And Jeff's signatures are highly suspect as well.

Good luck Robley. Let me know if I need to come kick some vintage memorabilia store's ass

Thanks SuMay ;). I guess sometimes when you are to trusting of others you can be burned. I've only had good experiences with the members on the forum and I respect their honest opinions. Before I ever buy anything else signed I'm contacting Paul and Ralph to look over it, good to have people around here that's in the know.

Sorry about your misfortune man :(

If they are indeed fake, is there a way to remove the sigs and salvage the value of the album?

  • sorry to have to agree with some on here- I've got numerous sigs from Ed and Mike- and these just don't quite look up to par... hope I'm wrong.

Again thanks for the input, I'm really sorry if I offended anyone. I believed this to be legit or I'd never brought it to the forum. I'm gonna see about getting my money back or an extreme discount unless the company can prove they are legit.
