A little question, just because I'm picky about dates ;) .. about the 1993-07-16 Rotterdam show.. Why is labelled as 16-17 of july 1993? Aren't the songs just from the date of 16th of july? In the audience boot of the 16th show all the 13 songs are included.. but I have still to listen to it song by song to see if they are the same versions.. these 13 songs are taken from the "Against" boot, right? and is it really a SBD or just a good AUD? the complete AUD of the 16th sounds really good..

anyway, thanks a lot for your work, both JWB and RB!

At least Even Flow is from the 17th July show (not played on the 16th), possibly others too - report back once you've done your song by song comparisons

..and the "Ahh" at the start and the solo seems quite the same to the version on the boot "against".. but I just listened to the even flow from 17th show from pjbootlegs.org (unfortunately a lossless copy of this show isn't in circulation, as far as I know), and, despite the sound quality is much worse here, it seem to be quite the same.. same "Ahh" at the start and the solo, too, seem strange to me than Mike played the same/similar solo for two nights in a row.. I really don't know what to think, it's 2:21 AM here in Italy and I need some sleep, so maybe my mind need some rest

I think that the radio broadcast just had songs from both days. the "against" bootleg that has been circulating for years had a pretty bad edit job between tracks, if i remember correctly
it's largely due to eddie that i liked to jump off of things as a child...
  • What you've done here is freakin' amazing.

Dude, thanks for doing these. So far, I've listened to some of the Atlanta '94 show and the improvement is definitely noticeable. It probably goes without saying, but these are some of my favorite early boots. Downloading Salt Lake City and Berlin as I type...super psyched to hear Salt Lake City!

    Thanks again!

Yes. It's a different mp3 rip to those posted on mediafire, these are in 320Kbps while mine are VBR (and contain artwork in the ID-tag).

A big thank you to all those involved in this project. Great efforts.
    - just to clarify.... Is it only the Flac files that have the full artwork included ?

I just want to say that the Berlin 96 is FUCKING GOOD..
I've listened to this show a lot of times, always wished for a better version.. now here it is, this probably is one of the most "on" show they ever played (not that they had a bad one) and it's like rediscovering it again.. great work, really..

ps: am I the only fool that is burning all cd's and printing all covers (including discs on printable cd-r's)?
damn it, that's a lot of black ink going on  .. but they will look amazing on the shelf :)
  • Man I can't say enough about how great a job JWB has done here. Not surprising...his rips of the Christmas vinyls have always been top-notch. But this is an out-of-this-world job well done here. The enhancements of stuff like Indio and London are amazing. But other stuff, like Atlanta '94 and Melbourne '98, I really never thought they could be made to sound better but they truly do here. I'm currently in the process of burning all of these to update my collection cause these are now THE definitive versions of these 14 shows.

And not to sound like a spoiled little kid who got 14 video games for Christmas but still wants some more....but any chance of Zurich '92 and Chicago '95 ever being remastered?

I've only listened to a couple of the tracks from Atlanta so far. Maybe the version I had before was a dud (like you, I found it on a blog), but to be honest, I'm amazed at the difference. I've always felt that the mix for that show was way too bass heavy. This version does a great job of balancing things out. It definitely creates a noticeable differences and gives the songs more character. Download it and see for yourself!

I downloaded the 7.22.98 show in mp3 format (thanks again!), and imported into itunes. It looks fine in itunes, but when I sync it with the ipod, the songs are out of order.

The other shows in this series that I've downloaded look fine on the ipod.

    Any ideas?

These guys deserve the equivalent of a gold medal on this. I have dabbled in these things for years collecting shows, different sources, etc. and I have never heard these classic shows sound this good. If only more soundboard/quality source shows existed to get the same treatment. 10 Club put these guys to work on the vault ASAP!
