  • Kick ass...

Checking in for a long night of setlist watching. And wishing I lived on the West coast.
The Man has a branch office in each of our brains, his corporate emblem is a white albatross, each local rep has a cover known as the Ego, and their mission in this world is Bad Shit.

  • We still don't even know if there's going to be an acoustic set...

If there is, they could do it in between electric sets...

What I'm saying is that nobody knows what is happening tonight, but it'll be something special...

Without a doubt this should be one for the ages.

First large Seattle area show in nearly 3 years.

All I'll be able to catch is the acoustic set before I head to bed. Maybe I'll just stay up who cares it's only work tomorrow.
  • I hope that if there is acoustic set, it is included on the downloadable bootlegs

well, this makes the setlist relay a tough thing.
  • You won't be able to get anyone on the phone more than likely.
Phone reception inside the venue, because it is in a cavern of sorts
    is shite.

I have also been trying to reach someone. And I have been there myself trying to call out, ain't happening.

I was wondering if we were going to be able to do the thing tonight or not. There is a good chance we will not get any phone calls. not even sure if text will work but it might, as frequency for text is different.

and why am I not there?

    because this day sucks ass
    and so does my job
    which I ordinarily love
but as it cost my ticket today
    not very fond of it.

One girl whose first show ever it is tonight on the other loves me
and most especially my job :-)

I thought they are text messaging. Will that be disrupted as well?

Yeah i had a feeling this might happen... I was actually thinking on my way home tonight, hey ill sit up and follow the setlist, and then it occured to me i hope someone has a phone that will work in a damn big whole in the ground 3 hours south of seatle. But people had the soundcheck so i imagine something should work out.

you'll still need a signal to send it out.
  • so, how did the people get the soundcheck on the other thread?
“Life is life everywhere. Life is in ourselves and not outside us. There will be men beside me, and the important thing is to be a man among men and to remain a man always, whatever the misfortunes, not to despair and not to fall - that is the aim of life, that is its purpose.”

    Excellent Point

However, maybe reception was better outside of the venue.

  • I'm pumped! I just bought the boot.
I miss you already, I miss you always

  • Yeah, guys, the Gorge is in a city called George, Wa, it is 3 hours SE of Seattle. Nice place, though.
  • What about morse code? :D

I think I am a bit far for that but I will keep my ears open just in case ;-)

actually I think texting might work, and also you can if you have lawn wander all around and there is big areas for wandering. Anyway, if you do move further away and depending on your service you can get out. and believe it or not 911 service did work. so text should they travel on the lower band whatever the difference is frequency.

Shit you can buy it already. What am I waiting for?!?!
  • Just a thougt, but i bet at the top of the lawn section or just up towards the top people will be able to get some kind of signal.
