As for my hand, it's always on ziggy's boob. ;) :P

You hold the right one as I hold the left one. We make a good team!;)

Oh! I even put the tips of my fingers in my bf's shorts at night....I love feeling something on the tips of my fingers so if I'm naked in bed, I'll use my bf's clothing instead if he's wearing any!

    I'm a freak! :? 8-)

I lik doing that as well :D

And the the "Al-Bundy-hand" looks quite uncomfy - if I would sit like that on a couch, I wouldn't feel good, positionwise. I can somehow understand the need to check if "they" are still there  I never touch my boobs when I'm thinking or just laying around or whatever. I would if I was a guy, though

They're probably just checking to see if their "package" is still there!?
The thing I like most about time is that it's not real. It's all in the head. Sure, it's a useful trick to use if you want to meet someone at a specific place in the universe and have tea or coffee- but that's all it is- a trick. There is no such thing as the past. It exists only in the memory. There is no such thing as the future. It exists only in our imagination. If our watches were truly accurate, the only thing they would ever say is "Now". That's what time it is. It's "Now". - Damien Echols

when I met an actor from the Wire on hbo on a train coming from NYC, he did that, but i don't think he was holding his package (I read through this thread and noticed you said not just sticking their hand in a little)
i did not notice until i looked thru my pics of him years later.

i worked with a very nasty man who did that years ago. otherwise, i don't see it much.

senrock, i guess you'll have to go to a shrink and ask them why men constantly grope their genitals around you b/c I can't find it completely addressed in any body language articles online :)

it's sort of discussed here (aggressive)
    http://www.newthinktank.com/2010/06/arm ... -language/

and here, "Hands Hidden from Sight: This is a sly and secretive gesture. The person is saying, "I don't want to communicate with you." This is especially true for hands that are thrust deep into pockets where there can be no touching, hand-holding or any kind of intimacy."
"Hands in Pockets: Other indications of the hands giving the liar away are playing with one's neckline, shoving a hand into a jacket, shirt or blouse, or deep into trouser pockets."

  • Honestly...Its simply a phenomenon that us males do it. And its not just men, Went up stairs to
check on the kids before bed..where was my sons hand sleeping..YUP! you guessed it...he's 12...

its an odd thing I admit..but we do it and that's that....maybe its the same reason women go to the bathroom
    together...security maybe?

I know, next time you see it, approach one saying you are conducting research and ask them?

Then report your findings to us.

I can go to the bathroom by myself thankyouverymuch.

I HATE when girls go to the bathroom together and all walk in as a big pack blocking everything...laughing, screaming, cackling...hogging the mirror/sink to slap on more spackle on their face and get annoyed because you are using the bathroom for real purposes and need to wash your hands. :x
The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun.

I would have thought you'd put on a dress and wig and hide out in one of the stalls....

Just like I answered in the "why do people back their cars into parking spaces" thread:
Just so we're always ready to get a move-on!
Pick up my debut novel here on amazon: Jonny Bails Floatin (in paperback) (also available on Kindle for $2.99)
