Wow. Great set list. I'm here in London from NYC for business, bought a ticket off a scalper (for a lotta dough) got in line, and got turned away at the door for a fake ticket. Bastards! Not seeing PJ hurts 10x more than the dollars and pounds.....

    that person should die.

i believe it ACTUALLY started in australia.
I died. I died and you just stood there. I died and you watched. I died and you walked by and said no. I'm dead.

Yeah, I have it on boot somewhere, it was 98 I think. I think that version disapeared until NW school 2005 (they opened the show with it after Ed and boom did "the kids are alright, very suprising).

just looked at this setlist... seeing new songs in there just made me as giddy as a schoolgirl

The new stuff sounded better live (as you'd expect), but sounded SIGNIFICANTLY better. Highlights for me from the new stuff were World Wide Suicide and Comatose. WWS opened the show well - it was the right song for that show. Similarly Comatose was a good to song to encore - it had muchos more energy live.

Why is it a joke? I haven't heard everything yet, and I'm excited to hear the new songs live. The real question should be "Why aren't you?" :p

    WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWW!

sorry but just got back (down the pub for a drink then cycling home) and I've felt like shouting all the way home!

What can I say : Thank You thankyou thankyou thankyouthankyou Pearl Jam and a million bloody kisses.

been waiting 6 years for this, my first PJ gig... my best friends, who saw them from the very first UK gigs and have been to the states several times just for them, keeping on saying: "wait 'till you see them, wait 'till you see them"... me trying to play down the expectations....

and then this as the first:
the Astoria, front and centre and the guys looking like they're having the time of their life: you should have seen the way they came back for Alive!!...haven't stopped smiling since it finished, stupid grin on my face will probably still be there at work tomorrow, if I can even sleep! good thing I just finished working in a psychiatric hospital, they'd have kept me as inpatient!

I'm sorry Pip and Fran I ever doubted you, thanks a million times to Andy, whom I'd never even met, who got me the ticket.
Met a few great people that I'm sure will see again on the tour...'cos I'm going to be back for more! a lot more! Even if right now I can't see how I can ever get as good, let alone better.

    Huge big thank you PJ

Well yes, but May 2nd isn't that long to wait. It takes time to mix the shows anyway. Would probably just mean holding it back a week longer than usual.

Not that short. Although I was hoping for more than 2 hours considering. But all in all a great set, can't really complain, 2 hours is plenty long enough and a very long set compared to the average band.

It's kinda worrying how much material PJ have now. Played for 2 hours and still missed out most of the hits!

That's what I was thinking. Are the days of the 28-30 song setlist gone?

this was a warm up show. much like the showbox shows of 2002. shorter set, loads of new songs, in a small venue. can't wait to hear the boot of this.
