I wish PJ did what DMB did last summer.

Whether you like DMB or not, you have to like what they did.

4 destination weekend over the summer.
3 nights of shows each weekend without repeating a song.
Dave and Time during the day.

Imagine if PJ did this? Three nights, no repeats and Ed solo during the day...

    That would be quite the experience. I also liked the way DMB spread the caravan shows around the country.

    (And, btw, I think the destination weekends are okay, but maybe let the singer rest during the day!)

    I obviously want the band to do whatever they want, it would just be a dream if what they want and what I want were in line with each other.

    that would've been a cooler way to celebrate & i definitely would have went to one. i live near the n.c./va border, so an 11 hour drive to wisconsin was not that appealing, neither were the travel packages which were waaayyy up there in prices. hopefully we'll get a late summer/fall tour. the closest ed's coming to me is florida & i'm not going that far just to see him. i'll wait for the whole band. hopefully, we'll get some east coast dates later this year. charlotte has at least 3 great places to play.

    Irrational DMB hate makes people sound like angry children. They aren't my favorite band -- far from it -- but I don't know what it is about them that brings out the venom sometimes.

    Does anyone here frequent their fan club message board as well? Does PJ get beat up there as regularly as DMB does here?

    does it drive all the dmb haters mad that mike & stefan lessard (dmb bassist) done some soundtrack work together? :lol: dmb is a badass fucking band. dave is a genious as far as songwriting goes, and guitar playing.
    they're in the upper realm as far as my favorite bands go. pearl jam is my favorite, obviously, but dmb is in my top 10 easily.

    Couldn't have said it any better myself actually. DMB just isn't for me, nor do I want PJ to follow suit after DMB in any way.
