    Hi everyone,

Chris received the money and has picked out a headstone with Francisco's mom. He wishes he could thank everyone individually but is dealing with a lot right now, and isn't on the board often. He promises to come back soon, maybe talk about some PJ/EV shows :) Below is the note Chris sent me, posted with his permission. Thank you everyone again for your contributions. We were able to make a huge difference to Francisco's family with just a small gesture on our parts.

    xx
    Su May

    From Chris (chrishermano3):
Just took Francisco's family to a place where we basically created a headstone. The reason that there's two books is because the spot where he is buried is specifically for two people, so his mother is going to be buried with him and eventually her stone will be filled in (though nothing is in her book for superstitious reasons) I found it cool that they wanted to put beloved brother (he actually has no brothers or sisters) because he was so close to his cousins and friends as if they were brothers. The man at the place was very knowledgeable when it came to creating the headstone, he knew that because of where Francisco was located he had to get a specific headstone with specific measurements and everything, so we got all of that done. He also gave us 10% off of the headstone because of what we (including mainly all of you awesome 10c members) did for Francisco. I just want to thank you so much for all that you have done and sorry for being absent its really hard right now with everything going on :o

Also I attached the basic picture of his headstone. It only cost $1,200 and the rest went towards the setting fee at the cemetery ($350) with a little leftover for his mom, plus all of the iTunes money that will be coming in next month. And the headstone will be at his grave in approximately 8-10 weeks! :D

Thank you all so very much, especially you Su May, you inspired me and his family to be the best people we can be, and great things will come your way. What you did was amazing and I hope for the best for you :)

To be able to see Francisco's mother's face when I told her the headstone was being paid for was amazing and I wish you could have seen it.

Thank you very much Su May :)

Me too. So sad seeing the dates, breaks my heart. When I lost a good friend, people couldn't understand why I grieved for so long, I took great comfort in knowing it was OK to do it in my own way.

"I can choose to accept or resist my grief, but I cannot end it & I would not want to, because grieving is the other face of love, it is the inevitable consequence of change...of life." Paul Bennett

Chris, may you find your rituals for comfort & one day may your memories be sweet.

This is awesome and I'm so glad that it worked out for Francisco's family to have had this done for him. It's very heartwarming to read the note from Chris. <3

I got my mystery tube from the giveaway yesterday. My "friendly" postal worker tossed it on my porch. That would normally be fine except that we were having nasty rain storms yesterday along with wind and whatnot. When the wife found the tube it was wet. She text me at work and told me about it. I asked her to open it up to see if the contents were damaged. Fearing the worst I was more than relieved when she said everything inside was dry. There was not one but TWO cool posters inside along with a couple of stickers.
Karma was smiling at me yesterday for sure
