"first run pressing copy of "Ten" that was hand-decorated by the band (Jeff and Ed seem to have shared chores) and handed out to clubs, radio stations, etc. These are super-rare; there were allegedly only 10"

To long to explain. Look it up on google. There's a whole story behind it. Last one sold for around 2000 I believe back in 2009. I would pay 3 now. There is a guy in Europe that has two but would not sale one, both are real.

I remember the "give way" Best Buy debacle. I was so looking forward to those cd's.

For my money Reenk Roink is the ultimate PJ item. Everything else we are talking about is a collectable...reenk roink is a part of history. People who own that are very fortunate... :)

Amazing. This collection should have been in the pj20 museum. The only item I don't see the reenk. But this is incredible.

Must be Ed's brother or Ament's collection. Or the person who stole Ed's suitcase back in the day.

What's the all-time best/hardest/rarest PJ item out there? I have a pretty massive collection...but I'm wondering if there is something that has slipped by me.

A few items I have that I've felt are pretty rare:
    Ten Doormat
    Ten Mini Basketball Hoop
    (2 different) Ten Mini Basketballs
    Yield Floor Sticker
    Do the Evolution Poster
Kozik poster from '91 RHCP/SP/PJ Texas tour
Kozik poster from '92 SG/PJ Texas tour

My local recordstore has two Yield Floor Stickers glued to the floor. Don't know how many times I've stepped on those...

A shot of the posters I've had framed so far...a few more in tubes. As much as I'd like to be a collector of all of them, I only buy the ones from the shows I attend.

I had that health journal too. Although not technically PJ it is not too easy to come by. I traded it to a fellow fan who actually would read it. I had the 1930's version which was only one volume.

I've never gotten into the pissing contest of I have blah blah blah.

My holy grail items are personal things I've gotten. The ornaments Laura sends out every year, a little Ed guitar ornament someone crocheted, tees I've been given by friends, hoodies that bring back memories, things like that mean more to me than the other stuff.

Exactly why I love my posters so dearly...I only get them from the shows I've been to :)

Yep me too. But I still treasure the memories of the parties before and then shows, more than the posters. Not saying I don't treasure them, I do, but I end up donating them to fundraisers a lot of the time.

IF I win the contest for the Benny, I'm going to donate it to the Tulsa party. I'm just not into things right now. I've been giving stuff away and selling stuff cheaply.

It's all good though, this way I can get rid of my stuff and people that will appreciate it can have it.

I would agree with anyone who has said the RR is the ultimate holy grail. Its the jewel in any collection IMO.

But the item i have been most thrilled with getting was the monkeywrench radio promo. I cherish that thing, after the hunt
