Education, I was there both time it was ever played.
The Boys are Back in Town, 1 and only (and probably last) Dublin
Crown of Thorns at Reading (though wasn't so rare this year, still was the first and only time in Europe, ever).
Picture in a Frame in Milan, first time ever.
Dead Man Walking in Prague (again only time ever in Europe).

And maybe not as rare but only time played in this tour:
Gimme Some Truthand All Or None in Zagreb.
Tremor Christ in Torino (yes, thanks Amine ;))
    Breath in Pistoia

that's why you can't miss a show when they're on your continent (I did and missed Long Road, Dirty Frank, Red Mosquito, Glorified G, Satan's Bed, Fatal and Off He Goes!)...never again! ;)
  • Dirty Frank in Marseilles, Leavin' Here at the Astoria, Breath in Pistoia, Breakerfall and Little Wing (full version w. vocals) in Bern.

Caught Satan's Bed and Glorified G twice each.

Plus I saw Life Wasted, Unemployable, Marker in the Sand and Army Reserve the first time they were EVER played live.

Would've loved The Boys Are Back In Town, though.

    last year i was lucky

Astoria has the live debuts of the Avocado tracks  :)

and in Dublin... Education made its debut and Boys Are Back In Town was probably given its only ever airing as well!
oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

    same here, all in bern
    13/9/06: Bern
    12/6/07: Munich
    23/6/07: Southside Festival
  • I count all the Bern rarities as well... but other than those, which vary in rarity the only real proven rarity gem I've been lucky enough to experience is "All Those Yesterdays". There are a bunch of songs that have been rarities at some point that I've seen but that weren't too shocking at the time and other like "Tremor Christ" that wasn't really a rarity until it suddenly became one. I'm still missing so many rare songs...
