I'm starting to get so sick of all these 'Play here in '07' threads, or '~insert place name here~ needs a tour' threads. Let the guys fucking rest. They just finished up playing more than 70 shows, and we're just not letting up. Why is everyone so friggin' greedy???

I understand they didn't play the south. We ALL know, and i'm sure they do, stop harping on it. We all know they didn't do a 'FULL' UK tour, jesus, they played 23 shows in Europe, not to mention the Astoria warmup. They played 25 in '00, and did what, 3 shows in England?

Give the boys a year off, and stop demanding they play Alpine Valley, Scotland, South America, even Australia again, or the friggin' south. It's gonna happen, just give them some time.

I hope they don't play anywhere. I hope all the festival rumors are false.
I hope they take 12 months off and don't do shit, and make us all wait. Because if anyone deserves anything, they deserve that.

ok if they are tired they will rest ,but if the gig bug hit's them well we will be happy as long as they do what is best for them and their family's ,so if they decide to take off for a year or so i would be very contemp oh who am i kidding please play MSG, sorry just had to do that ..........

1 month of absolute rest is enough for normal people.

Its not like doing 70 shows in one year is so big of a deal. Thats like a 1/2 year of work... and a 3-4 hour "work-day".

So, LETS TOUR AGAIN!!

Anyway.. they dont even consider all our "play here "threads at the time they decide when or where to play, so..

I agree, the guys need a rest.... but it has nothing to do with us! They rest when they want, they play when they want.



And besides... its not like they are brain surgeons .... They are musicians.. musicians play music, they tour
they get paid bookoos , and pretty much have the best jobs ever

if your a good musician, your fans constantly want to see you more!

I do dig that, more than most here on the board, and i too have withdrawals, and i too want more than anything for them to come to SoCal again sometime soon, it's just some people have turned so demanding and have this sense of entitlement that is unjustified.

And i used to work 6 days a week, 11 hours a day as well, and i never got any rest either, but i needed that to make a living. They don't, there's a difference. The enjoy doing that, and playing for fans, and it's only fair that we allow them some time off between tours. It's been less than 2 months and people are complaining.

I doubt it. Dya think they get magically beamed to each show by Scotty? Travel's exhausting man! And the energy they put into each show! That is a lot of hard work. I know i couldn't perform like that every night! (No pun intended! :rolleyes: )

Albeit, i'm a selfish bastard, and so i want them to play England, Scotland - just to please Dunkman, and the far east - preferably South Korea, as that's where i'm gonna be!

They definitely play where they want, when they want.

There are always a few indignant fans whatever you do, but the majority of us, if we can't go to a local show, go to wherever it is that PJ ARE playing.

Due to time zone differences and announcement schedules, you are
right, it does not leave the Ten Club enough time for a "pre-sale." However,
rest assured that when the tour is officially announced (very soon) there
will be an opportunity for fan club members to attend the Katowice show.
Please be patient with us and know that we are working for you!

Ok, now you're hitting close to home. I've seen them twice there, and the crowds fucking rocked. They love touring Australia, and that's been publicly noted. The only 'shit' crowd, was apparently at Sydney 1, but that's just going on what i've read on this board. They wouldn't play 12 shows in a country that they didn't feel warranted it.

I've got a lot of friends back home who went to most of the shows, and the response was huge down there.

That´s what most of the american crowd say and i see hands in pockets during even flow:-). But i have to see a australian show by myself. Hopefully in the future.

plus, isn't "touring" apart of the job description? and i do realize that riding around in a tour bus for months is not the easiest thing to do and it would be hard to leave your family for an extended period of time. but you kinda know that when you take the job, ya know?

but i know if i had the opportunity to play my music in front of people who were truly moved by it and play with my some people who are very dear to my heart (and exceptionally gifted at that), not to mention being able to travel all over the world and see some amazing places that a lot of people will never get to see, while all at the same time making lots of money (say what you will, but it is a nice perk!) i would sure as hell would do it!!

all the rumours are for June onwards, and something short...that will have been a 6 months break.
you get 6 months holidays every year?

I'm not saying they're doing nothing in between (I'm sure they do)...but they'll have had plenty of time to rest!
