Hi everyone,
Soooooooo....I heard from the vet and HE'S OKAY!!!
Poor little monkey has been under anaesthetic for a lot of the day! :? So they want to keep an eye on him and have us ring at 10 tomorrow morning. They reckon he might have to stay another night :( but I know it's for the best. He has a little incision in his belly and one near his bottom and he has to have a catheter.
She said he has done really well and the operation went really well. Now I guess time will tell.

I just want to thank everyone again so much for your support, your stories and your compassion. I will NEVER forget it. xoxoxoxoxox to you all!

Imo give him some rest...He shall not be feeling to well right now and he will be wanna jump and run when he sees you and what you said he will be upset when you leave and dont take him with you...

I know now you know its all well you want to see and hug him,but better hug him double when the doc says you can take him home....Give him a big hug from me too...

Apples, carrots, bananas? My dog goes crazy for any of those - healthy & natural...But you'll have to talk to the vet about that.

Took your advice and stayed away but it was hard!
I have heard this morning that little Henry scoffed his breakfast this morning and that sounds like the good old Henry that I know so thats a great sign! I will find out later today if he has to spend another night, think he might have to, it was a pretty massive surgery and I'm scared for him to come home too early.

The fruit idea is great, twisted thoughts! Dahlia (my little girl) likes to give him her banana and he is quite happy to take it off her hands usually. :roll:
Kel, no dog napping! he is verrrrrry cute though! Love that little bandana! can't wait until Henry is okay to go swimming down the beach again! This will really change his life for the better, poor little man has had this problem for so long and has been in and out of the vet so many times for enemas and drugs. He will be so much happier, I can't wait to see that change in him. Thanks everybody!
