Lower deck/floor tickets are 200 bucks...can anyone justify paying that much for this up-and-comer?

I'm not sure about the venue you've got out there but the beauty of the tour is that farther back/higher you sit, the better your view is. I'm not talking nosebleed rafters but closer to the roof than the floor. Most of the time you're watching the graphics on the wall and the elaborate setups (I won't give anything away). I saw the show at an indoor venue and sat in the lower level balcony (for around 90 - that's with all the surcharges) and couldn't have been happier. If you like The Wall, then see it. I went on a whim and I'm checking it out again with my dad at Wrigley Field.

  • I will be checking out Waters in Hartford on 6/29 and will probably pay more than that.
The same week I will be seeing PJ twice in Amsterdam and paying jacked up prices.
My f*****g credit card company loves me.
There is always somebody out there who will pay top dollar . Ticket brokers are doing better than ever.
The Waters show $200 price is probably face value, but it is quite a spectacular production

I paid around that price for Perth last Friday. TOTALLY worth it. This tour will never happen again once it's over.

Absolutely agree. I saw this last year at the O2 in Dublin, I was actually in the back row of the balcony, dead centre (deliberately) and had a wonderful view of the whole show, you'll miss things if you're at the front.

I paid $150 Aus and came away completely happy with what I'd paid. Thoroughly worth it, great entertainment - an amazing show. Go see it if you get the chance and dont worry about the money, the guy's a legend.

Just got tickets for a friend and I!! In the nosebleeds of the nosebleeds of Yankee Stadium but hey- I don't care! Was the ticket price I could afford and figured that it's worth it to be there, even so far away. I'm hoping it's actually a pretty cool view, being able to see the whole Wall set-up from high above  But could not be more excited to see such a legend performing such a classic album live!

  • I went to this show in Perth a few weeks ago. It was incredible. If i could afford it, I'd jump on a plane right now and see it somewhere else all over again. It was that good. Don't miss it. I'll never be able to listen to Vera in the same way again. one of the most moving things I've ever witnessed.

Don't worry about the cost of tickets - you get your money's worth many times over.

On a side note. I beta tested an android phone ap called Snap Replay which allows for live to web photo streaming and took pictures of the show which were instantly displayed on a website. Ideally if a number of people were using the ap at the same event, you'd get a number of different perspectives from all around the arena. About 200 people followed this beta test and were able to follow the show in real time. Check out the archive of the pics I took.

At the moment it only works on android but iphone is coming soon. A lot of development of this service and website is currently underway. It is a free ap. You can either create your own event or add to an event created by someone else if you are there. Feel free to download the ap and give it a spin yourselves:

I was in the nosebleed section (third tier) of the RLA, dont know how that compares to the Yankee Stadium in size or layout, but being in the nosebleeds for Roger Waters is not as bad as for other bands. We got a great overall perspective of his show and the sound was superb, not too soft as it often is with other bands. I can promise you it will be cool to see Roger and co from high up, there's an awful lot to look at and your eyes are going to be treated to a visual extravaganza the likes of something they've never seen before. Enjoy! :)

My Buddy and I were in the nose bleeds straight back from the stage at our show (4 levels up). He said Roger uses a sound system that ensures crystal clear quality sound. So sound at his shows isn't really or (shouldn't be) an issue regardless of seat location. Saw him about 14 rows from the stage for the Dark side tour, and it was still the same crystal clear sound.

This is all what I was thinking/hoping, so great to have it confirmed!! Wish I could fast forward to 7/7!! :)

Enjoy the show. It's fantastic. Being higher up in the 4rth level isn't bad cause you get to see everything. It's a very visual production as others have said as well.

Been waiting more than 6 months for this show and now it's only two days away.

Is he doing any kind of encore or just playing The Wall?

I went here in Austin a few weeks ago, paid 120.00 for upper level, but I can tell you one thing, I would NOT want to be sitting close to the stage, we could see EVERYTHING from our seats.

Saw it here at the Pepsi Center two weeks ago and what a show! Our seats were in the nosebleeds about 4 rows from the top, but the sound was amazing and we were able to take in most the visuals from the show. While we didn't see Roger's facial expressions, the seats were much better than I could have hoped. Not a bad seat in the house for this one!

Good to hear! I am in the nosebleeds of the nosebleeds at Yankee Stadium in July  Regardless of seating, I am super excited for this show. I keep hearing the most amazing reviews and can't wait to take it all in for myself!

So My sister emailed me from NJ me asking me if I would like to go to RW's The Wall for Father's Day? I was like huh....I told her "qui qui madame" she says "does that mean yes?" this coming from a woman who spent 2 weeks in Paris on some work magazine project.

So we're going to Bank Atlantic Friday night on June 15th in Sunrise FL I believe....it should be fun and thank you sis.

Saw the outdoor version on Saturday night...amazing spectacle of a show!

If anyone is still thinking of buying tickets, I suggest a straight-on view of the stage so that you see the entire production...this isn't the type of show where you worry about being close to the band.

We were about 2/3 of the way back on the field, so we were in a great position to be surrounded by the quadrophonic sound.

Keep your eyes on the right side of the stage once the first song ends! 8-)

Just announced that the final show of the tour will be on the Plains of Abraham in Quebec City this summer. This place has hosted many big acts with extremely large crowds (Iron Maiden played there in 2010 to 80,000+ people). Roger Waters has released a video on Facebook that says this performance will feature the largest wall of the tour as well as other surprises.
