I have one - 3/4 length - really thick - wife loves it - I rarely wear it anymore - but it is very nice.

i had one many moon back. the original heavy ass thick fucker with the collar that buttons/snaps down and the belt at the waist area. lemme see if i can find a picture.
oh...and i bought it out of a sears catalog. i was very proud of myself. parents made me buy it several sizes to big as i was only like 13 or 14 years old. $135.00. the idea was to have it as an adult or not a young teenager out growing the fucker in a few years... no.
age 16 on up it fit like a dream. i did the whole (cut off the sleeves on a denim jean jacket) put the vest jean jacket over the leather coat. had metallica kill em all patch sewn onto the back of the jean jacket..and a few other patches i think.
i was the shit
like this minus the sheriff badge...add sleeveless jean jacket over leather
add a small roach clip to one of the metal zipper pullin thingys.

I have a nice leather jacket that I wear when I go to fancy places.
Dated a guy that had a really nice leather jacket...that was hot.
I just love the smell of leather...

it's a bit more 'dressy' if I had an office job, I'd wear it to work:
mine isn't that shiny...more of a matte leather

I would love a little black leather dress....always wanted one....I wonder if it would be comfy? Are leather coats comfy?
I have a LBD made of suede...LOVE it....actually very comfy. Can't fit into it right now, but when I'm done with P90x I will be able to...can't wait.
Leather coats can be comfy if you get a good cut/style. Try finding a lambskin one for your hot weather Zig...oh so soft.

There'd be no point....we never wear coats....ever....maybe a month out of the year I wear a jumper/cardigan....if that.
I want to move to a cold climate soon....or at least a place that has a winter....I love winter clothes....knee high boots, jackets, cute beanies and scarves....ahhhhh!

Technically, they're not comfortable to wear, but they do look nice.
