What do you do when you can't sleep?

Good ideas here, everyone!
Next question: What do you do when you've been up most of the night to get yourself in gear (assuming you're like me and do use any amphetamines stronger than coffee.) I'm opening the store in 55 minutes and I just know the first customer is going to walk in, take one look at me and think instantly of "Night of the Living Dead"!

unfortunately what I end up doing is just laying in bed, trying to sleep, continuously looking at the clock, and end up essentially having a near panic attack due to the premonition of how crappy I'm going to feel the next day. I do not advise this approach. Usually finally end up falling asleep at 4 or 5 only to have to get up a few hours later. DESPISE insomnia.0

I was going to say the same thing but thought noooo, I'm just not that kind of girl to talk about such things so openly!

yoga or go for a run. If it's too cold out to run, then I go and do a few sets of stairs in the house. That usually tires me out.0

I listen to classical piano music.... yup I'm a nerd! The thing I like most about time is that it's not real. It's all in the head. Sure, it's a useful trick to use if you want to meet someone at a specific place in the universe and have tea or coffee- but that's all it is- a trick. There is no such thing as the past. It exists only in the memory. There is no such thing as the future. It exists only in our imagination. If our watches were truly accurate, the only thing they would ever say is "Now". That's what time it is. It's "Now". - Damien Echols0
