Yeah frankly I’d have him 3rd at best behind Allen and Mahomes, and 5th at worst behind the guys you listed. I can’t fathom having Lamar over him at this point. Certainly not Baker or Carr. Though at his best, Carr’s pretty good. I’d still rather have Wilson though.
I’m a Broncos fan and I am not happy with this signing..
Should be happier than GB fans.

    Was a steep price, though.

But who’s a better option? I assume you’d rather have Wilson than Lock right? And with Rodgers saying in GB, who else is there? I think you can get five good years out of Russ.

They have only drafted one good QB in franchise history so free agency and trades have done them well at times, I would love for them to draft right one more time...

People's perceptions of Wilson seem to be a lot lower than they should be (people around Philly who didn't even want to entertain the idea of a trade included). He had one of his worst seasons this year, yet still ranked in top 10 in most of the stats people look at to determine best qb's in the league.
Yet his QBR was the same as Carson Wentz last year and the perception of Wentz is far worse.  and yet you think Wentz stinks.

He isn't the worst. Honestly I thought the Colts would give him another year.

He had consistently bad judgement when he got in trouble. If a sack was imminent he had this little ball toss thing that he did instead of taking the sack. In the last several games it cost us. One was a pick six that I remember, another just a turnover. Just really stupid play.

I never understood why he continued to do that. SUrely the QB coach would have told him to just take the fucking sack.

Watching 49er games was fun yelling at Jimmy G to throw the ball to a cheerleader instead of the brain lock decisions he would make under pressure.

I would say out loud, on occasion, "Dont do it, Jimmy!"

Makes some awful decisions when under pressure.

I read that Irsay really wanted him gone.

As many talking heads pointed out, 27 TD/7 INT looks decent but he threw for less than 200 yds in 8 games….that’s NOT decent.

We saw stuff like that for years with the Eagles. He has the talent, but just doesn't seem to have "it" to be a true franchise qb worth the money he's making. The story yesterday about the Colts being concerned about his leadership abilities, being resistant to hard coaching, and then making these kinds of mistakes you're talking about are the same exact stories we heard here. If that situation in Indy with the coach who previously unlocked his potential didn't work out, I have a feeling Washington won't as well.

Sounds like Reich wanted him gone too, or is at least smart enough to distance himself. Reich apologized to Irsay for stumping for Wentz.

The problem with Wentz is he will give you 3-3/12 quarters of good football but then make a couple of boneheaded plays so bad you wonder if he's ever played football before

It's just savvy football business. Colts turned a 1st and a 3rd into two 3rds, who wouldn't do that? (Shocking that a great football mind like Irsay travels around with a cache of drugs in the trunk of his car isn't it?)
    This weekend we rock Portland
