I assume they'll do the week 7 & 8 bye week swap involving the Ravens I outlined above.
Certainly the least disruptive option available.

They are no longer playing the game Monday or Tuesday.

Yup... just saw it's going to get postponed until later in the season. One or two postponed games are probably manageable... but if more teams have outbreaks they're going to be in trouble.
Agreed. But I think they'll finish the season even it ends in April.

For the sake of the Eagles, they need to pull the plug.

    Cam Newton caught the Rona.
Unfortunately the 2 early season wins will likely take the Pats out of the Trevor Lawrence sweepstakes considering how bad both NY teams are.

So far they have tested everyone else and no other positives, but as we have seen in DC and Tennessee this week, it takes time for some of the positive tests to show.

They have to cancel.  If I’m the Chiefs I wouldn’t take the field.  How do you know it’s fully isolated from the players and coaches on the Pats?
I wish I was a sacrifice, but somehow still lived on.

these last few days are starting to feel like the few days when the NBA and NCAA tournament shut down. Every day other cases hitting the news again.  First the Tennessee outbreak, then President dickhead, now the Pats.   Crazy

Zero Vikings caught it from the Titans last week.
It seems pretty hard to catch on the field, it likely spread in team meetings and other indoor activities in the facility in Tennessee.

I find It hard to believe you can’t catch it on the field.  You risk this getting out of control if the Pats infect any of the Chiefs.

The Patriots would have won more games than the Giants if they started their 4th string

Which is what the first decision was on Titans/Steelers.
Now that the Chiefs' QB has also tested positive, look for more positives on both sides and the game to get scrubbed.

To clarify, a practice squad QB (Ta’amu) who was imitating Cam Newton in practice this week.  It is possible he could have passed it along.  I hope not.

Yea they probably have until March to play all the games. I don't think the stadiums will be occupied then since Taylor Swift isn't touring

Saints apparently a false positive. Game on (good thing cause Brees is my back up fantasy QB to Mahomes, can't take the chance Mahomes plays tomorrow)

The postponement didn't happen until after a player from each team was positive. When the news of Newton broke, game was still on.
Plus what happened with the Titans is obviously playing a large role here. We saw number of positives increase each day this week, so they need to give things a little more time to look at more test results.
Had the Tenn. outbreak not happened and it was only Newton and not the Chiefs' QB, they'd be playing this afternoon.
