I think the Pats have the advantage in the 1st quarter due to their previous trips and being comfortable with the SB hype. I think Atlanta will be a little jittery so I expect Belichick to bait them with some trick plays while they are all amped up. I expect a 17-3 score at halftime. After Atlanta calms down at halftime, I expect Atlanta's offence to chip away to make it a close game, but the Pats end up winning because this is the year of Donald Trump and god hates us.
So, any Super Bowl predictions? Two things scare me about this game, the Pats' DBs are small and I see lots of yards after the catch for Atlanta's receivers and the Pats historically don't play well after what amounts to a bye week. They come out flat and in big games that's fatal. It could be a blow out but not for the Pats. Hope I'm wrong.
Faxxxi, If my Birds can't get to Brady or at least get some inside pressure, it is going to be a long day. I expect it to be pretty high scoring affair.

I don't think either team will have trouble moving the ball. Just a matter of which one can get TD's more often. Get a few turnovers, hope that Matty Ice feels some pressure, and cross our fingers!
I just hope it's a great game and not a blow out let down for either team. Ryan is a good quarterback and disguises the fake handoff well. Yards after the catch is going to be key.
Look for a bunch of questionable calls to go against the Pats.
Does anyone know where Bill was when the Falcons' plane landed?
I can tell you right where he was right before, paying off a luggage handler.
Then the Falcons deserve to lose. Who puts their playbook in checked luggage?
apparently Kyle's bag, which included the game plan. went missing for 15 minutes at the press conference last night as a reporter mistakenly picked up his bag. hmmm.

If Atlanta can't get pressure on Brady with a 3 or 4 man front then it could be a long day for the Falcons. Then again maybe nobody ever punts and the score is 42-35.
Raiders Las Vegas plans are falling apart. NFL football is a mess in California. I'm not sure why anyone in that state would be a serious fan except for Bay Area 49ers fans who are watching a dumpster fire, but at least they only moved 50 miles away.
Vegas seems like a great city for the NFL. May not get a huge local season ticket base, but you figure it would be a great destination weekend trip for fans of the opponent.

I would want to see how the NHL team does in Vegas.
I think the NHL with 41 home games would be a tougher sell, though capacity would be 25% of NFL games. 8 NFL games, all on weekends (possibly 1 Thursday), should be viable.
New England has Cleveland on the hook for a potential Garappolo deal.
Cleveland coming to the table with the 1st and 12th picks in the draft. I don't think they'd be so stupid as to give up the 1st, but they are the Charlie Browns and might just be persuaded to give up the 12th and maybe a 3rd to sweeten the pot for the Pats.
There's no quick fix for your shit team. Don't pad the Pats stable of riches overpaying for their cast offs you idiots.
