If Aaron Bailey would have caught that goddamn hail mary pass against the Steelers in the '95 AFC championship game, he might have one already. That drop cost the Colts a chance at a title and cost my parents a sofa that I flipped over in a rage.
Harbaugh would have a much better time controlling 19 year old kids that are saving their pocket change for 50 cent Taco Tuesday then a bunch of dudes making millions of dollars.
The NFL's highest paid player is getting benched for .... Jimmy Clausen??? Jimmy Clausen still plays football???
This has to be disheartening news for Tim Tebow.
Go Bears! Go Irish!
HAHAHA. That is what I thought too -- Jimmy Clausen is the answer? They must be trying to make sure he doesn't get injured so that they can trade him to someone for an old couch and a loaf of stale bread. Clausen suuuuuucccckkkks. No way is he better than Cutler and were I am Bears fan I would be losing my mind right now.

Oh man. They are such a fucking mess. Trestman benching Cutler and starting Clausen is just his desperate attempt at saving his job. Trying to prove that his awful offensive system works with another QB and that Cutler is the problem, not him. Cutler has been bad this year. but Trestman doesn't have a fucking clue. Can't wait until they fire everyone after the season.
So they overpaid Cutler (who didn't even come close to deserving that contract) and now they take it out on him.
Cutler made 22.5 million dollars this year.
Ben Roethlisberger made 14.6 million.
Roethlisberger has more Super Bowl wins than Cutler (and Romo for that matter) have playoff wins.
Can't fault Cutler for taking the money they stupidly offered him.
It's funny how so many people blame Cutler for all of the Bears problems. Like you said, the Bears gave him that insane contract. They viewed him as an elite QB when in reality, he's an average QB. The Bears are the worst.

Phil Sims: "the jags showed that defense before the timeout. The titans coaches called the timeout (actually Whitehurst called the TO because the play click was at 1). They called a perfect play and are able to set up for this field GO."

I hate Sims. He can't say goal. It's so annoying.
At least he knows the word "huge" starts with an "H"....Al Michaels is not aware of this.
Romo and Rodgers have definitely earned their money.
Romo? What? He's a good QB but not 18 million dollars a year good. And to mention him with Rodgers? Again...what?
Anyway, I had to comment on that Romo thing but the real reason I came to this thread right now is to note that "Thursday Night Football: Special Saturday Edition" might be the stupidest sentence I've ever heard on NFL network...and that's saying something considering how ridiculous some NFL network commercials can be

Romo has the highest QB rating, second only to Rodgers. And he's just as essential to his team's success as Rodgers is to his. And they're both going to make the playoffs.

Slow your roll WTM. All Dallas has to do is.lose one and Philly win out and the cows are out. Phillly owns all of.the tie breakers. I think there's a scenario that if Dallas loses and Philly wins out, Dallas could get in IF GB loses out. But the odds that happening are slim to none. Way more likely that Dallas loses the next two. I have a crisp $10 Bill that still say Dallas doesn't make the playoffs. Wanna lock that in?
